1.Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

I have a youtube channel named fit life hit life. I post videos related to diet nutrition and lifestyle. You can watch healthy recipe videos on the channel as well. I'm in a final year of graduation from Delhi University and also pursuing as a nutritionist.

2.What is your fitness mantra?

Fitness should not just be limited to losing weight or building big muscles. Everyone needs to develop physical, mental and emotional health.


3) What are some major misconceptions about diets and exercises?

The list is really long. Here are few examples regarding misconceptions of diet and exercise. People see diet as something negative or food restrictions but the truth is diet is associated with a person's overall food intake whether a person has a healthy diet or unhealthy diet and that too varies from person to person.


  • Eating carbohydrates makes you fat

  • Eating at night causes weight gain

  • Low fat diets are healthy alternative.

  • Keto diet is best for weight loss.

  • Best time for exercise is in the morning



4.How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Take charge of your life, only you can improve your health. Small behavior changes can surely makes your lifestyle a healthier one.There are four key priority lifestyle areas


  • Diet and nutrition

  • Exercise

  • Sleep

  • Positive attitude


5.How can one build a successful career in your field?

You can get certifications or degree from government as well as private institutions that's up to you. Certifications can be done from IGNOU, ACE,ISSA, etc.Degrees can be done from Delhi University. Diploma courses can be done from IGNOU, Delhi University, etc. What matters is the knowledge you gain.


6.What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?


Not just for losing the weight I would like to give this advice to everyone out there those who really want to transform themselves.

  • Eat fruits and vegetables
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Exercise at least 2 hours in a week
  • Eat variety of foods.
  • Just believe yourself.
  • Consistency is the key

7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well being and happiness?

Diet and exercise both are important for good health. If you are not having a balanced diet and right amount of physical activity, you are inviting health problems. Proper diet and exercise improves mood, enhances energy levels, reduce stress levels and makes a person happier.
