1. If you would have to introduce yourself in a gist, what all will you include about yourself.

Hi, my name is Haya Kshipra. A Digital Marketing Executive by Profession and a Social Media Influencer by passion. I create Easy Recipe Videos on My Instagram and YouTube. Other than this I am a keen literature lover. I basically belong from South, Kerala but I have been born and brought up in Delhi. I have done Post graduation in English literature from North Campus, Arts Faculty. I love cooking and exploring new places and sharing it with my audience.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

I decided to create a page back in 2017 to make a memory album of my food journey, later it gained love from the audience and I decided to continue it with more passion and dedication then I came to know about food influencing which helped me grow it in a better way which made me do some extra efforts on my page by self-creating content and roaming more in search of good eateries in and around.

3. Is vlogging and Instagramming content creation a financially sustainable career?

In my opinion it can be sustainable if you dedicate yourself fully into it and be more creative and louder than other content creators on the platform because originality and uniqueness is what will help you to sustain, as competition is everywhere and social media is handy thing anyone with a phone can do content creation and now a days everyone is having a page with their passion involved into it moreover it totally depends on your consistency and quality content with knowledge. It’s your hard work and genuine efforts at the end of the day.

4. Who is your Favorite Creator and Why?

There are many creators who are my favorite because each content is different even being in the same genre, they do immensely outstanding work each to their own and I seriously can’t name those inspirational people on my fingers. So everyone who is doing their bit to inspire me is my favorite.

5. How and Where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

I find my inspiration from my mom, Sheeja, she always motivates me to create something other than her my Best friend Sanoop, who is very much interested on my Instagram page and YouTube. There is not even a day he doesn’t ask me if I have shot any video or photo for my social media.

These two are my constant motivation and inspiration. My Mom cooks really good south Indian dishes and I am hoping I can Ace that too one day.

6. What does your Typical Day look like?

My typical weekdays start with my office work then after that I take out sometime to shoot my videos with my mom’s help. After that I edit it and post on my social media platforms, I check my mails and binge on some web series. On weekends it totally goes around with my friends and family with some good food and endless talks.

7. How would you distinguish the term blogger from influencer?

A blogger is someone who owns a website and writes blogs and publishes it and an influencer on the other hand is a person who has a large audience on a social media platform from where they show case their lifestyle and influences people to buy certain brand just like television advertisements.

8. What do you think influences the consumer behavior?

In my personal opinion its through personal, psychological and social behavior. If someone is following me and liking me then they will trust my suggestions too and it will be on personal level. If the audience can relate to something then there is a thumbs up for you right there. These things help consumers to develop choices and preferences.

9. Your opinion on Instagram contemplating removing likes option for posts?

To me Likes were never a thing to worry because I started this page for my passion for food, but definitely some people who do take it seriously might get relieved from stress over not getting good engagement regularly on profile, and for brands it might be fine also as I think they wont remove the insights. So over all I am passive about it.

10. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

My idea of success is to be happy in whatever you do, if it doesn’t make you happy then you don’t belong there, you only live once make it worth it. Be consistent, work smart, do good, sleep right, life will go on, so do you! LIVE EACH DAY LIKE IT’S YOUR LAST DAY

11. What is your favorite book and why?

There are plenty of works that I really loved reading, I will mention a few. The first good read was when I was 16. It was Sidney Sheldon’s Tell me Your Dreams which is a mystery thriller closely knitted work with absolute sense of perfection in it, you feel every commotion and emotion revolving around the story lines.

Second will be Beloved by Toni Morrison, it’s about the black people who were under the whites and the series of discrimination is followed in the name of converting into Christianity, it has a sense of Magical Realism with historical fiction

Third will be color purple by Alice Walker, it’s a domestic fiction. It surrounds over a little girl around 14 who writes her misery to god and by the time she grows up she learns about the bitter truth about her life.

All three are very good read, if you love fictional literature definitely find some time to read these you won’t regret it.

12. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

For the aspiring creators, I would like to say is to be consistent and to never give up on what you do, love your work, motivate yourself even in the lowest times and continue doing it with passion and vigor. A good content creator is someone who falls down and picks up himself and works out things in more enlightened way. Always try to learn something new and create your own uniqueness.
