1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Well, basically I am from the city of joy Kolkata. Born and brought up in Kolkata only. I am a management student who you have worked in the service industry mainly. I have work in travel and tourism and event management company for six years because of my passion for travel.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

What it seems to me I was always a poser even from my childhood . I can definitely say that by looking at my childhood pictures. I always like getting my pictures clicked.

I was using social media for quite a long time and used to see all those influences. But all my accounts were mainly personal accounts.

In 2019 I shifted to Delhi NCR and started taking this a bit more seriously. I create a different page where I only post fashion-related staff and I tried to be consistent on that platform. The more I was consistent I started seeing little growth.

So I started investing more time in that and started growing little by little.
If you ask me the reason why I started well when I started that at first, it was just to try out. But more I got into this I realized the power that a person can have from influencing. So I thought if I can bring a little value and influence people in some positive way that will be a great addition.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

I am not that person who is very technical so I can't give you the technical difference between a blogger and influencer. As in a way both of them can influence people.

But basically, a blogger creates content based on writing more. And an influencer is mainly known as creative who creates a picture or video-related content.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

To be honest it all depends. You will see a lot of people doing this full time and earning their livelihood from there passion. I have friends who are doing this full time for living. But when you initially start off you need to realize it is is just like some other business.

Where you are investing your time your talent and even money. and just like any other work or business, you need to hustle habit at the beginning but if your content has a value you will grow and you can reach that point someday.

5. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

I wish I could give you a one-liner. But I can't because for me definitions are subjective person to person and time to time. The definition of success can be a very different person to person. For me, more than money equality life is much more important than materialistic things.

I would say "don't hesitate to make mistakes that will give you enough confidence to try out whatever you want to achieve in life. Don't do something because it's profitable as you may not like doing that. Do something that you love doing and you will achieve excellence"

6. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

Find out something that you are absolutely in love with. You don't have to follow the trend you can create your own.Do have proper knowledge about the subject that you are going to talk about in social media.

Learn from people who already successful in that particular domain.Make and create content that can add value to someone's life.Be consistent and have patience.Build up a real relationship with your followers and fellow influencers.

Stay up to date with the changes in the algorithm of that particular platform that you are working on.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

Well, one of my favorite book is "Siddharth" by Hermann Hesse.
This book is about a person who is born in a Brahmin family during the rise of Buddhism.

He also wanted to attend enlightenment Sahi was tried many different paths to achieve that. Many times he had failed miserably got into a completely different direction in life. But how these all right and wrong experiences help him reach his goal end of the day what inspires me.
