1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college?

A. I am a media student and I attend college regularly and then get back to my work as a makeup artist sparked my desire to be an Influencer. I developed my own different styles at a very young age. I’m a Teen Content Creator, Makeup Artist, and an influencer. Our main responsibility as an influencer is to work with brands to create social media content for a platform and be totally honest with the audience about your views. 

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student be aspiring the same, approach it? Tell us more about the journey?

A. I started making videos when I was about 14 years old. I really admired Huda Kattan's wonderful makeup artist. I began my Instagram page as a means of showcasing my makeup each time I created a look. I started all this as my Hobby. I’m at a position I never imagined. I was very passionate about my hobbies and managed my studies as well. I always gave more importance to the things I love and all I can say is Never give up. Do it for yourself! Do what you feel is right. 

3. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do? 

 I work full time and yes, I’m quite good at time management but there are times where I wish I had clones of me that could help me manage everything. I started earning when I was 15 and that’s the time, I got to know the value of everything. 

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself? 

At the age of 15, I was independent. I started my page with a low-quality phone camera and asking my parents for something I was never that kind of a kid. With all my savings I bought my self and earned an iPhone at the age of 15 . I was really proud of myself. I started to pay for my own expenses. N yes here's where I realized, I am capable of doing my work. 

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences? 

Conferences can be a great way to imbibe knowledge and it opens doors for you. Hard work does pay off! Life is full of challenges and bumps in the road but keeps powering through them it is worth it! It definitely takes some patience! You have to be passionate about it.
