1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.

I am part of the international youth-run organization in my college for the last year. Currently, I'm working as a People manager of the organization responsible for ensuring that each member's experience is up to the mark, helping individuals to attain their true potential and enabling them to become a better leader. I'm also responsible for creating content for internal communications at the national level.

2. How did you rise to your position, and how can a student aspire to the same approach?

I believe that until and unless we don't take chances, we are not moving forward. Personally, inside the organization or outside the organization, it is crucial to grab every opportunity and move out of your comfort zone.

Learning new skills and getting better comes handy with any role you take up in your life. Anyone who wants to follow or achieve something first must set his mentality on the right thing because that is the first step in achieving it.

3. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do?

For me, the biggest challenge is to learn to accept failures and make most of them. Some decisions may or may not work out, but it shouldn't stop us from following our passion and dreams. Throughout my experience in the organization with conversations from people around the world, the most important thing I learned that its important that you embrace failure. That's when you will learn and grow.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel proud of yourself?

Empowering people to follow their passion and helping them to understand their true potential is one of the things I will cherish most.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Till the time, you don't push your limits; you won't be able to stand apart from the crowd. An internship is must need practical experience every college student must experience. It helps to become more solution-oriented, helps you to understand the real world from your perspective.

Every internship you do or conference you attend helps to broaden your horizon and helps you to develop a growth mindset.
