1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities at your college

Being the president of The Placement and Internship Cell I must oversee the smooth functioning of the cell and keep an eye on the activities our cell is a part of. We at Placement Cell also ensures the personality enhancement of the members which can help them in the future. It includes calling out to companies or being on the receiver's end, managing, and organizing placement drives in our college. We try our best so that all the opportunities brought by us get to the student for their benefit.

2. How can we encourage more young students such as yourself to take up a leadership role?

By reaching out to students via different social media platforms and encouraging them with the benefits they'll achieve. I believe our youth is really active in social media so it is only appropriate that we reach to them where they are most comfortable and are willing to listen. You can also host webinars to tell them what's in it for them and I firmly believe that they'll understand.

3. What have been your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

The biggest challenge I faced was "How to deal with impolite people". There are times when your audience is not as well mannered as you had hoped for, even then I felt the need to inform them about various opportunities and think in their welfare. I learned that politeness and humbleness is the key features to reach out to your audience!

4. What are your career goals and how is what you are doing is going to help you with that?

I aim towards achieving a position in a prestigious organization where I can contribute to my team. The work I'm involved in teaches me how I can work in a team and grow with it, to manage a team and work successfully is what I want I admire and seek out.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

"It WILL help!", Be it an internship or conferences they'll definitely teach you something. Maybe it's not visible at the moment but even something boring can teach you about patience or something too challenging can teach you how to take up that challenge and win it over!
