1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college?

Our faculty is small, with fewer number of students per batch and even fewer boys per batch. So event organizing responsibilities were mostly upon our shoulders. And while going on field visits as boys we are the ones to arrange everything from food. And then I found a purpose at a youth organization where we get students from other countries as exchange students.

2. How did you risen up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

I had to face an interview. I started out as an organizing committee vice president for finance. And then I was offered a Team leader position. That was a huge responsibility. I think I did that as best as I can.
After that I was promoted to manager position. Anyone can achieve that. They just need to have good care and focus on the things that they have to do and fulfill the responsibilities that you give me

3. What has been some of your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

Biggest challenge was arranging everything from scrap. Advertising my project. Then arranging accommodations and travel plans to our exchange students. On top of that our country faced a terrorist bomb attack. So everything was double hard. But we pulled through.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

The best thing I’m proud of is getting to know some amazing people. Its actually something that happened rather than something I did. But I have seen someone with a shy personality, grow into a social and happy person. I have seen friendship grow into brotherhood. And I am lucky to have witnessed that while being proud of myself to doing my best to make it come true

5. What’s your message to encourage students to do internship and attend conferences?

I just have to say go for it. Do not think twice. Do not doubt it. Allow yourself to have the chances to point your life into new directions. Those internships will give you so many awesome life experiences and you will also get the chance to learn so many things.
