1. Tell us more about your roles and responsibilities.

 Being a Class Representative, my role is to act as a transmitter between my fellow classmates and faculty members. My responsibility is that all my classmates should feel heard and no one should feel left out.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

 By enhancing your leadership qualities one can aspire to become a CR of their respective class. Moreover, to become a CR it is not necessary to be exemplary in academics but what's necessary is to be watchful of your behavior and act responsibly.

3. What is it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

It might get challenging sometimes but my classmates are understanding and they help me well in this. So it's not a big problem.

4. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

Challenges that I faced the most would be being motivated for what I do every day. Staying attentive and focused everyday in the class is also a challenge sometimes. 

My biggest learning would be time management, as to performing my duties, attending classes, giving time to my friends and family etc.

5. How do your parents look at you participating in extracurricular activities?

My parents are very supportive they support me in all my good deeds including participating in extracurricular activities. Keeping the result aside even my participation makes them happy. Sometimes, it amazes them to see me do so many things at a time.

6. What are your career goals and how is what you are doing going to help you with that?

I aspire to become a software developer while doing so the biggest challenge would be to manage a team. So, leadership qualities, time management, coordinating an event and all which i am learning right now would be of great help in future.

7. How can we encourage more young students as you to take-up leadership roles?

We can do this by encouraging them to participate in several events organized by their college and other colleges as well. Webinars and workshops can be organized on leadership skills. College should organized more fests in order to increase opportunity for young minds.

8. What’s your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Internship and conference are must in college life. Internship will provide students with experience which will be of biggest help during their placement. Moreover, it will increase their confidence level.

 On the other hand, attending conference will give them the exposure to meet and interact with the masters I’m their respective fields and one can also mention it in their resume.
