1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am Delhiite. So having big dreams was always on top of my list. Currently, I am in my last year of mass communication and planning to be in the industry very soon.

Everyone says I am very photogenic and I wanted to do something that can help others in some way or another. And that's when I thought to be an influencer/promoter which fulfills my goals. It is going to be one year now and I am loving every bit of it.


2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

Being a college student, I happen to be on Instagram a lot. I am following so many great influencers who have helped me in figuring out the products that would work for me. Seeing people inspire others, I wanted to do the same. 

And what better way than having your own page and your people. It takes one step to start somewhere and you get the ideas to progress along the way.


3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

I would say that a blogger would be a person who manages a blog and shares his/her experience with the audience whereas influencers already have a large audience to influence and that's why brands are focusing more on influencers these days. Any blogger can be an influencer but influencer does not have to be a blogger.


4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

Absolutely. Big brands like Samsung, Vivo, Oppo and many more are having influencer marketing teams with them. The sole reason is because a large audience is on social media these days and influencers help brands be more influential to the right targeted audience.


5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

There can be many factors for it. Brands' identity, authenticity, trust, reviews and many more. Would you buy from a brand you don't trust or know nothing about? 

How about your friend who suggests a brand? Then you will consider buying. Why? Because even though you are interacting with the brand for the first time, you have a customer(your friend) who has interacted already. So you are influenced in one way to buy any product and try for yourself.


6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Trust the universe and keep going. Overthinking has never helped anyone. But if you are strong enough to take the first step forward, there is no stopping you.


7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

Follow the large influencers who are in the industry for a long time and do your research as to what your target audience likes these days. Start on one social media platform and gradually add more to the list once you have a solid base on one channel.


8. Which is your favorite book and why?

The Secret. Well it does hold the secret to success. You just have to be patient enough to get the message it is trying to deliver. It tells you what life holds for you and how you can change your life for the better only if you are willing to do it.
