1. Tell us more about your startup and your journey.

My journey in this industry started at a very young age. I started working as a child artist at the age of 9 years and I have been modeling for the past 8 years.

My organization is named Next Step Talent House. Being a model and a pageant winner myself and having absolutely no previous background or family ties in the field, I always felt the absence of a mentor and this is exactly what my organization stands for.

I believe in mentoring skilled talents and giving them an opportunity to understand the fashion industry without necessarily having what I may have missed out on.

My organizations' profile includes -
  1. Pageantry training
  2. Model portfolio
  3. Casting
  4. Makeup grooming
  5. Style mentorship
  6. Image consultancy
  7. Soft skill training

2. Did you always dream about entering a beauty pageant and were you confident about winning?

It was never on my list of to-dos and it just felt like my calling. I followed my gut and heart..it was never about winning, it was about giving myself an opportunity to present myself on stage and the entire experience.

Winning was like a cherry on the top!

3. What sacrifices and challenges that people don't know of does it take to participate in a beauty competition?

It takes a lot of hard work to look as presentable as how the pageant girls do. It's not always lights, camera, action. There needs to be discipline, courage, and a lot of self-assessment.

What you see as a result is just due to the 100% motivation and will that we put in.

4. What are some of the most important factors for running a successful business?

Your first step in starting your own venture is to gain enough knowledge and information. Every business only runs when you have enough knowledge on how to keep it running.

5. What would be your advice to all aspiring models, artists, and pageant aspirants?

Grow at your own pace. Also, you can get pulled away into having unrealistic expectations of your body and of what true beauty is. I see so many people randomly following fads such as intermediate fasting or super crazy diets.

You need to know what is right for your own body. Be persistent and never give up!

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Dare to take your first step.  Don't be blinded by fear.  When you are confident, your world will take shape automatically.
