1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I basically belong to middle class family originally from Kotdwar Uttrakhand but I am born and brought up in Delhi only and if I talk about qualifications I am graduated in BCA.
However, talking about my journey as a makeup artist and beauty Influencer so it started from 2017 apart from this I have tried to build my career in modelling, acting, teaching also I had worked with one youtube channel and did a song as well but didn't worked well for me and when I realised that it's not working and my love for glamour life and how I like to groom people around me.
So, I thought to give a try to beauty & makeup industry but before that I never considered "makeup"as a career because where I came from mostly people think about MUA's as "parlour wali" not as a respected profession but thereafter I did research about the profession such as academies and etc. who provide professional education or certification.
Then I found Lakme academy and I enrolled my self for Pro makeup artist and let people know that there is a reputed career now am happy dt I made a good decision.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I was on Instagram since very beginning but when i entered in this profession and starting doing makeup's i wanted to show that to people ofcourse for my personal growth and to the people who are not that much in this profession and have different prespectives about the profession.
So, I started a separate page on instagram as a makeup artist and after putting pictures on it people actually liked it many of them complimented me for my work my growth and thats what motivates people and it motivated me too to remain active on such platform to create a huge network and grow more.
3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
As we know "Not all blogger are influencer and Not all influencer are blogger " both are perfect at there place and but we all know influencer makes more impact in people's life than blogger cause what blogger share's is their own original content , point of view about any particular content and that could be anything.
Even the influencer doesn't do any different thing but yea people always get inspired from influencers so influencers have responsibilities as well.
4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
I don't think being financially sustainable have to do anything with influencing. It might be or it might be not what matters for being influencer is people are liking you and getting influencing and if u r able to do that for sure it is financially good being an influencer but if in general i would say yea its good just depends on quality of work, time given and your audience and many other factors.
5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?
What influences the consumer is how I am providing them what they expecting from me and it's totally based on your unique content because everybody get attracted towards the uniqueness of your work whether it's beauty/lifestyle/fashion etc.
Even people notice each & everything like how we standout differently, how we carry ourselves , our products, place etc everything matters.
6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
Listen to your heart. Work till you can for the goal you set.
If things do not work, take a break and start over. You would know sooner that something was not for you. Do not follow the crowd.
Money is important but less important than your own family, health and luxuries.
Take everything easy. Life is simple but we make it complex.
Stay active and never sleep during the day. Rest is needed but resting all the time makes you lazy.
7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
By being much active and by influencing huge number of people by being loved by people and that could be happened only by fulfilling what my people are expecting from me as an blogger/influencer in my field only that can give me immense satisfaction and ofcourse if I will be satisfied I will be the successful influencer for sure.
8. Which is your favorite book and why?
I am not much of a book person but I have read few and some of them being fictional and there is a book named "7 habits of highly effective people " and i like that one cause that book gives you new perspective and i think everyone should read it once , the "habits" described in the book are not really habits.
They are more like mindsets and attitudes. Covey very rarely pointed out a specific daily behavior you should develop to achieve mastery in a particular area.
