Our journey began on the 1st day of our college where we met after our orientation and decided to bunk our lecture and go out explore food joints near our college! Both of us our commerce graduates from Delhi University. Little did we know, we are going to be business partners soon!

We clearly remember the 1st post we made on our Instagram sitting in Natural’s in CP (Our happy place) and being all excited to share with the world our LOVE for food. Our beloved @Toofoodiee will complete 4 years on September 5th and safe to that this page, the collaborations, the friendships through TOOFOODIEE will be cherished for a lifetime.

2. Which is your favorite cuisine and dish?

Indian Cuisine All the way! We are true desis at heart! Also, being Delhities, ‘Chole Bhature’ has to be the winner for us.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

We believe Food blogging or any other form of art should take birth from a place of pure passion & love. Along the way find what makes YOU different, YOUR content different and then let the entrepreneur in you take over and make it a full-fledged career.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

Let us break it down to categories for all the foodies out there! To satisfy your sweet tooth we would recommend:
  • Big Chill Cakery in Khan Market – Delhi
  • Tiramisu of Nolita in Chennai
  • Le15 patisserie in Mumbai
A few feel-good places one should definitely try are:
  • Masala Library in Mumbai
  • Billu’s Hut & Bistro 57 in Delhi (super pocket friendly)
  • Chocolate Heaven in Chennai & Mumbai
  • Olive’s in Goa

  • Swad Punjab Da, Chennai
  • Opposite OPTIONS in Juhu, Mumbai that serves the best dosas.

4. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

The taste matters, we have been to the poshest place in India and have explored the old food stalls in Delhi, being run by generations and one thing that makes us go back is the TASTE! When visiting a cafe we notice the ambience, quality of food and of the hospitality of the staff and owners, it makes all the difference.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

It has to be NATHU’s Pineapple Pastry in Delhi for us!
The place holds sentimental value for us and we ALWAYS end up having a great time there.

6. Which is your favorite book and why?

Not much of an avid reader but we do try to read as much as we can! ‘Read more’ is always one of our New Year Resolution every New Year’s.
A Thousand Splendid Suns novel by Khaled Hosseini would be our pick!
