1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hi, I am Chaitalee Bele, currently working in finance and taxation. My journey is that of a travel bug co-existing in the ‘9 to 5’ world. To speak more of it I’d say It’s pretty much geared up lately and I’m looking forward to great things happening soon.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

Just like all of us, I used to travel around places with my family as a kid. About a couple years ago, on a rainy afternoon, I happened to look through an album of old travel pictures, where I had clicked at the beach, in the mountains, feeding monkeys, taking horse rides, and the joy on my face as a 5-year-old was unmatched.

Even the memories of those vacations made me so happy. It was then that I realized how I’d love to have my happiness & travel experiences shared. I decided to put that thought to practice last year while planning my trip to Spain, and I started with my page on Instagram @chaitalee19 for TRAVEL LOVE. That’s how my journey began.

3. Is vlogging and Instagram content creation a financially sustainable career?

Well, in recent times, content creation is emerging as a full-time career option. There’s a lot to social media like networking, microblogging, blogging, marketing, etc, and in the coming years, it’s demand is only going to rise. Given that, it’s always a plus to have a strong digital presence.

You can choose whichever path interests you the most. All it takes is consistency for it to grow. Building a blog is like building any other business; success takes time, patience, and dedication. You should expect to plug away for at least a year before you start seeing sustainable Income coming in.

Once your blog is doing well, you can definitely expect to earn a good sum of money out of it. While the good news is that starting a blog is free & risk-free.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

It's quite difficult to make a choice for this question as we have so many amazing content creators out there. But yes, if made to choose I’d say my favorite creator is Kresha Bajaj. She’s a fashion designer by profession but her love for travel is astounding.

I love her content, the whole setup in her pictures is stunning. What I like best about her page is that she manages to coordinate her outfits with the places she visits in a beautiful way, and I think it adds a great deal of fascination to the posts.

Also, it’s needless to mention that all the places are extraordinary. She was my major inspiration to start up with my own page.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

Firstly, I think inspiration comes naturally when you’re doing what you love the most. In my case, right from deciding the location, exploring places to visit, planning the itinerary, shopping for the travel, finding the most unique experiences that different cities offer, adventures, resorts, bookings, and ultimately being there. I love every little pre and post a thing about travel.

Secondly, My favorite people out there are tour guides, they just make you fall in love with the place. Trust me there’s no place that doesn’t have an interesting story to tell, that’s where my interest lies. I like to get to know the details and share it with my people. There are some really fascinating facts and stories that we would never think of, always something new to learn.

Next best on the list is going for adventures, always bring out a new best in you. Being up for trying new things and living it out in at that moment. There’s nothing as interesting as sharing an adventurous experience. And that’s where my content comes from, pure, raw, and right from my heart.

6. What does your typical day look like?

I’m going to talk about a typical day when I’m traveling, I usually wake up early, to just sit out and enjoy my morning drink, to feel the bliss of the place I’m at. Be it by the waves at a beach, or between the mountains with a soft wind blowing through my hair, or at a resort listening to good music. It’s a great way to kick-start the day.

Usually, I have a day full of exploring new places planned ahead of me. I try to cover some adventures wherever the city offers. I never really keep time for meals since I am not much of a foodie, I mean lunches are always on the go for me. But I do always suggest otherwise. You should have your meals timely and properly when you’re out traveling as you need to maintain the energy.

Moving on, to the evening I prefer watching some local special performances like skits, dances, light shows, etc. depending on the place of course. I like to get to know the local art and culture there. And yeah that’s pretty much about it. Ending my day with a happy sleep.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

My favorite book is Becoming by Michelle Obama. If you don’t know the reason yet; get your copy ASAP.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

I’d just say that, be real, have original content. Creativity cannot be copied. Just go for it, write your heart out. And let the world Love you for who you really are!
