What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I always have that urge of trying new dishes whenever I go somewhere, I used to click pictures of the food, my friends and my family used to call me for my suggestions that what should they try at any place.
Then finally one day I realized it's time I should start a page on food, and here I'm now.. my page BINGELIFE recently completed one year this 25th Oct.
Why Instagram? Because almost everyone is on this platform plus their features are very cool
How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
Bloggers are someone who writes about their experience, or their research on certain platforms like WordPress, whereas an influencer should have a capacity to influence people for brands. Bloggers can also be influencers too.
Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
It depends on every individual like how they tackle brands. Initially, for being an influencer you will need some investments for yourself because at the very starting day you won't be getting any collaborations. But yes after reaching a level, the brands will surely contact you.
So yes, for me, if one chooses the right brands and the right collaborations, it can help them to be financially sustained in the long run.
What do you think influences consumer behavior?
It depends on every individual like how they buy, select, use, and how a service is satisfying their needs. But in my case, my genuine reviews really influence my followers. On the other hand, talking about the restaurants, engagements on the post matters a lot to them.
Your opinion on Instagram contemplating removing likes option for posts.
It should have happened sooner, as there are numerous pages buying fake followers and likes just to show the popularity and so that they can charge more to brands, this was hampering the genuine pages.
What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
Success comes from working hard, the mantra I follow is that you should believe in yourself. Everyone is talented and passionate about something, it's just some people identify it very soon and some take time.
