Insights on Instagram by an Influencer: Yukta Arora

What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I used to click what I eat and post it on Instagram. It was just a normal thing for me. I wasn't even aware of this blogging concept. But one day, I attended this seminar in my college where many famous bloggers or you can say, influencers from different fields were invited. There, for the first time, I got to know what all you can do with this, and there I started taking my page 'Moodie Fooodie' seriously.
How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
A Blogger is one who writes blogs on different niches and an Influencer is the one who creates content and influences his/her audience. Well, I neither call myself a blogger nor an influencer.
Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
It's really tough to say this because you need to work really hard to generate new content every day. I got my first payment after 1 year but still, I won't say that I will continue this lifelong as a full-time career. But yes, because it is my passion and I can't let that go, I can do this as a part-time job for sure.
What do you think influences consumer behavior?
It totally depends on the quality the brand is providing, like, for example, I don't do any stuff just because some celebrity is promoting it, I will buy only if I feel the quality is nice and will be effective for me.
Your opinion on Instagram contemplating removing likes option for posts.
I feel it's good because now people will approach us by content and not just numbers.
What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My idea of success is to stay positive and happy no matter what is happening around you. Because if you are happy, then everything will be fine.
