1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Through the reputation I have earned on various platforms due to my content, I can say that I am a prominent culinary influencer and also, currently preparing for competitive exams besides that.

It started out in 2019. I have always loved going out and exploring food I’ve never tried before. A childhood friend of mine, Rishabh Gemini, inspired me and helped me through my journey as he has been doing this for much longer. My love for exploring food has made this experience fun for me.

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Being a North Indian, I won’t even hesitate a bit to say that the North Indian Cuisine has won hearts round the world and mine too. The richness of flavours and wide variety will make sure you won’t get enough of it no matter how many times you’ve tried it. Chole Bhature, the food I relish the most will always remain at the top for me.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

For someone who wants to make food blogging as an active source of income, it should be a passion at first because if someone is just starting only for the sake of making financial gains from this then it won’t be sustainable in the start itself.

It takes consistency, patience, credibility; to stand apart from the crowd, define your own niche. All these things will be a stepping stone to make the food blogging financially viable. Still there are some downsides to this as well, favoritism is inevitable in this industry too. Few substandard PR & Media agencies devise unscrupulous methods to avoid paying out to the influencers. One should always be alert while dealing with such kinds of agencies.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

The top 5 places I’ll suggest are - Gulati Restaurant, Pandara Road; Big Chill Cafe, Khan Market; Cafeteria & Co. Hudson Lane; Diggin, Chanakyapuri; Chor Bizarre, Bikaner House.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

There are several aspects on which I judge a particular dish or restaurant: Presentation, Taste, Texture, Hygiene Standards, Decor, Service & if the restaurant is easily accessible or not.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I relate myself with Rasmalai, it gets better as you keep hogging on it.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

I’m not an avid book reader but I’m always keen on learning new skills every now & then.
