1. Tell us about your background and journey.

My name's Dr Sangeetha and my journey actually started from a small dream of mine from a very young age with my atmost admiration to the prefix 'Dr' being there in front of my name. From there till now I should say it made me reach till here, only a dream come true. But for now, it's more than a responsibility I have to the public with devotion.

2. Despite so much of talent in India, why do people look abroad for treatment?

It's not that we lack talent in our country, but only that we humans always trust more in the new developed technologies and are willing to give a try whatever cost it may take, as we trust it could make a great difference in our lives and may even give us a new life. But now I guess there's a reduction in the people moving out for treatment as our country is also competing with all the available technologies.

3. What is your take on virtual methods of providing treatment?

Being an Ayurvedic Doctor, I am totally against the virtual treatment, only because it's completely against the basic principles of patient examination in our science. But witnessing the present scenario, or in any emergencies,  I believe the right choice for safety of our patients and even for the doctors this method can even be choosed for providing treatments.

4. What do you think are the key differences in studying medical in Indian and other countries?

Maybe more exposure to the various conditions which are common in other countries than our own, along with more practical experience with patients and the new developed technologies of treatment.

5. Which countries are the best for studying medical besides India?

Actually I don't have a personal opinion regarding the same.We should better ask the answer to Google.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

I guess it's from the field I am in, so for that I will directly go for Charaka Samhitha, one of the ancient texts available from the history of Ayurveda, which is considered to be the baseline for every beginners and for everyone who is flourishing too.

7. What impact do you want to create in the medical field.

With no offense, I would say -  I want to create equal opportunities for all the science to grow up side by side in the same way.And specifically in my science , I would like to bring upon everyone's attention towards the reduced and forgotten side of the importance of usage of metalic and non-metalic medicines for the wide variety of diseases including the emergency conditions.
