A Wetsuit Disguised as a Business Suit

"The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun."- Phil Edwards. It's very rare to find someone who quit surfing because it was not fun. Surfers have some of the best moments of their life during surfing. The rush it gives is incomparable. Surfing is highly addictive. It is one of the most popular board sports ever invented. There are over 20 million surfers in the world, and the number is growing fast. Sun, salt, and sand are a virtuous blend that often opens people up to a newfound respect for their environment.

Riding a wave is a breathless experience pumping out adrenaline rush like no other. Every wave brings out a new story for each surfer. Surfing through most prominent in the United States of America and Australia can be found anywhere in the world. Surfing makes you feel alive like never before and that first wave ride is unforgettable. Along with its thrill and rush surfing also brings along many health benefits and will also act as a motivation to maintain a higher level of physical fitness and potentially make healthier life choices.

Surfing: The water thrill

Surfing is a surface water sport in which the rider rides the forward face of the wave carrying the surfer towards the shore. It is one of the hardest sports to learn but also gives a rush like no other. Surfing gives you the confidence to take on every new challenge in your life. It also is a great release from your jam-packed stressful days. It gives you a chance to lose all your baggage on the shore and just get lost in its holistic release.

A Surfer's Wetsuit

Every surfer needs a wetsuit for surfing. A wetsuit traps a thin layer of water between the wetsuit and our skin. This leads to an increase in a surfer's body temperature thus giving a nice warm blanket around the body.

This is the reason why you must wear a properly fitted wetsuit especially if surfing in cold water. Free speed is the most significant performance benefit of a wetsuit. Wetsuit buoyancy improves your body position so you "ride" higher in the water.  This translates into less resistance, which directly correlates with faster times.

Another benefit of the wetsuit is safety. While your wetsuit is not a flotation device, it certainly helps you stay on top of the water in case you need to swim to the side, roll over on your back and stop for a moment to collect yourself.

Quiksilver- For Surf Inspired Apparels

Quiksilver is a brand of surf-inspired apparel and accessories that was founded in 1969 in Torquay, Australia but is now based in Huntington Beach, California. This brand is one of the largest in the world for surfwear and board sport-related equipment and accessories.

Over time, quicksilver has had its ups and downs but now is the biggest multinational corporation for surfwear taking over many of its rivals. Quiksilver has made a point over the years of diversifying, expanding, whilst prioritizing core values and thinking out of the box. One such creation of quicksilver is its wetsuit that looks like an actual business suit.

Quiksilver's New Wetsuit

In 2015, Quiksilver showcased its one of the most unique creations to the world. It designed a wetsuit comprising of a blazer, shirt, trousers, and tie which can easily be mistaken as a business suit.

Quicksilver launched this creation in Japan for a reasonable price of $2,500. This suit is made of 2mm rubbery neoprene that's familiar to every surfer while the shirt is made of tight-fitting daylight fabric developed in conjunction with 3M. You can now freely enjoy surfing without worrying mundane, skintight look of a wetsuit.

Conclusion

Every child has dreamt of becoming a surfer at some point in his life. The coolest looking sport not only gives you a thrill but also brings you closer to nature. Each wave hits you with a different emotion making the sport even more addictive and exciting.

Earlier a surfer was forced to surf in a tightly fitted wetsuit even if it's causing him inconvenience but now even that problem no longer exists. With Quiksilver's wetsuit, you can go surf around while looking like a rich classy businessman ever ready for a meeting.
