1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hello everyone, my name is Shaina and I am a food blogger (@foodinmyheart_). I won’t say a professional myself yet, because just a newbie here. It’s been 3 months that I am in this food blogging world. Quarantine made me think really hard about my passion for food. 

So just came up with food blogging. And my page, my work got good appreciation so moving forward along with it. As per we call it a journey, 3 months is not a long time, it’s just a start. I want to reach millions and millions of people so that they recognise my work. 


2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

My favourite cuisine goes without any doubt North indian food, I’m a north Indian and I love it, I can’t live without north Indian food. My favourite dish is the typical bharwan parantha and lip smacking dal makhni naan.


3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Blogging can be both a passion and a career. Personally, For me it is both passion and I want to pursue it as a career. Some people think, that blogging is an easy task, and can be pursued easily with any other career option. 

But no, as far as I have seen and noticed, to be truly a blogger, you have to invest all your time and efforts in this from your heart and soul. That’s where you can work both on your passion as well as blogging being your career.


4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

I belong to haryana and the best restaurant that i would recommend to all the food lovers for north indian dishes would be Amrik sukhdev dhaba, Murthal (Sonipat)


5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

For me every dish has its own essence and flavours, they are all special at there own places. Also I am a vegetarian so would love to go for every single vegetarian dish on my blog.


6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I particularly associate myself with every kind of paranthas, i love making them, i love having them. I can have paranthas at any point of time, anyday, anywhere.


7. Which is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book is “Bake with Shivesh” by Shivesh Bhatia. I love baking and he is amazing.
