I knew that in order to heal my body I had to change my thinking about food and lifestyle. After a long journey of healing my body naturally, I’ve decided to create my health and wellness blog, social media page where I can share my experiences and my knowledge hoping to help others on their journey as well.



1. Tell us about your background and journey.

My name is Ligia. I am a wife and a mother of a wonderful daughter. I love my family, friends and my food. I come from a happy family with 5 siblings. My mother always cooked delicious food almost every day. I am super passionate about eating healthy food and creating plant-based meals for me and my family. I've started my food and wellness blog to share my passion and knowledge I have about living an overall healthy and balanced life.

2. What led you to do food blogging?

What led me to do food blogging it was my journey to heal my body after some unfortunate health problems. I’ve experienced a few good years ago some health problems and that led me to change the way I was eating and my lifestyle completely. I’ve started studying and educating myself more about health and what exactly is in the food I eat.

3. How are your blogs inspiring people to lead a healthy lifestyle?

I only share foods, products and tips on my blog that I am very passionate about and believe in. After doing my own research to change my food habits and overall my lifestyle, I’ve realized that my experiences may help others as well. Being a healthy food blogger is more than sharing your love for healthy food, it’s connecting to people and hoping to make a small change at a time. 

So many times you can learn so much from other people’s experiences and learn to make better choices for your life. From my experience, I have so many friends asking me how did I start my health journey and how do I keep it with joy. My answer is simple: find to love yourself and your body only then you will find the answer to all your questions regarding a healthy lifestyle.

4. What does your typical day look like?

My typical day looks like this. I wake up and I love to start my day with a healthy smoothie. Then I take some time to meditate and be thankful for all I have in life and especially for my health and family’s health. After that, I work and plan my meals for the day.

I cook for me and my family and then I work out to keep my body moving and stay fit. I always have my bottle of water with me to stay hydrated throughout the day.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

If I would have to pick my favourite dish it would absolutely be a big plant-based bowl loaded with salads, grains & fresh vegetables and for the sweet dish absolutely has to be a smoothie bowl.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book, it’s hard to pick just one. My favourite food-related book is "How Not to Die" by Michael Greger MD
