1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.

My name is Mahesh Chouhan. I run my business successfully which makes sweets and supplies for the different sweet vendor's shops all over Panjim city. This journey was started by my Father in 2005. So far it's been successful.


2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?

In the start of the business we use to supply Dhoklas in the shop, after that, slowly, we started to diversify our business and therefore the idea came up of making sweets as per the customer's demands.


3. What has been your biggest challenge that you faced and how did you overcome that?

The challenges which we face is the competition in and around Panjim city. We also face challenges during festival season like Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Christmas etc. At this time, demand increases and we have to increase the production and deliver it on time.


4. What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful entrepreneur?

The important qualities of successful business is loyalty, trustworthy, and quality products and a commitment for Business.

The most important factor for running successful business is that you should create trust in your customers and provide best quality of service.


6. What are your tips for first time and aspiring entrepreneurs?

My tip for them is that they should work hard, shouldn't get disappointed in the start because ups and downs come, but one should never lose self-confidence.


7. How can one overcome a hurdle of lack of funds when starting up?

At very first, you should start a small business then as per demands and through further opportunities, you should increase the business. Therefore, there will be no fund issues.
