Consistency Can Help You Monetize Your Blog - Sapna Saggad (Blogger)

Sapna Saggad

I did not show my face on youtube, just because I was not comfortable with it at that time, then after a few months, I started filming by showing my face on camera, I used to film with my phone with no tripod. I always place my phone on some sort of stool in order to film. So, this is how I started.

Tell us about your background and journey.

I Belong to a Middle-class family and I am an assistant accountant by profession. I always wanted to create content on youtube and finally in 2018 I decided to make a youtube channel and that was named as Sapna's Glam world, but unfortunately as always in my case how can things go well easily so I run that channel for around 1.5 years but things not worked in my favor and then another tragedy happened, as my channel and its the email starts facing lots of problems and I deleted that channel with  heavy heart.

Then in January 2020, I started my new channel GLAMOROUS SAPNA and after six months it gets monetized by god's grace. Now we are a family of more than 2000 subscribers which are way too less I know, but I am sure that one day my channel will reach amazing heights.

When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

As I already mentioned that I used to watch videos on youtube and after watching other creators I also wanted that. Yes !! I want to make videos like this. But Years passed and in 2018 I got the courage to start my own youtube channel. In the first few months,

I did not show my face on youtube, just because I was not comfortable with it at that time, then after a few months, I started filming by showing my face on camera, I used to film with my phone with no tripod. I always place my phone on some sort of stool in order to film. So, this is how I started.

Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?

Yes!! It is. I mean obviously, I am not making money currently out of it as my channel is not so popular but I have seen other creators who are doing this and this only and making a good amount of money out of it and living their dream life. Just you need to be Focused & consistent.

Who is your favorite creator and why?

My Favourites are Aditi from thatquirkymiss and Mridul Sharma. Both are so hard-working and dedicated. Whenever I just give up on my channel then these two creator videos motivate me to keep going. I just love watching their videos.

How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

I always find inspiration to churn out content by watching other creator videos and obviously by scrolling on social media. It just gives me the motivation to create new content even in times when I feel low.

What does your typical day look like?

My Typical day seems to be very boring, that includes working for my job, editing & Filming on every alternate day if I get time to do so.

Which is your favorite book and why?

I generally do not read books but out of the few ones I have read, I think my favorite is How to make Friends & influence people, like this book, teaches how to react and incorporate yourself in a particular situation. This one really helped me with my temper problem.

What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

I know I am not the best one to give advice to other creators, but I would say if you wish to create content, then stick to a niche in which you probably want to create content, stay focused, and most importantly be regular and consistent. This just boosts your confidence and also consistency increases the chances that your content reaches more people. I hope it helps you all.
