Search for Perfection Never Ends Because It Does Not Exist - Bhagyashri Borse (Fashion Model & Actor)

Social Media definitely knows how to make one feel that they are not enough. The society has set certain standards of perfection that make us doubt ourselves. The hidden fact is that perfection does not exist.

Tell us about your background and journey so far?

I was born in Aurangabad and did my schooling in Lagos, South Africa! After 12th I decided to come to Mumbai to pursue a degree in Business Management during which I applied at a Modelling agency ‘Toabh’ at the age of 18! After a while, I got a call from Inega and I decided to sign with them! It’s been an amazing journey with a lot of learning and great memories! And I definitely look forward to more.

Could you please tell us about your most memorable experience as a model?

My most memorable experience as a model would be shooting for a Cadbury Dairymilk Valentines ad! It was exciting knowing I’m going to be one of those Cadbury girls people speak of! The location was a beautiful spot in Kerala and Prakash Verma was the director! The shoot will always be a very precious memory to me!

What is your opinion about the projection of body image by the media?

Social Media definitely knows how to make one feel that they are not enough. The society has set certain standards of perfection that makes us doubt ourselves. The hidden fact is that perfection does not exist. I believe that each person is perfect in their own way and it’s the imperfections of every human that makes them unique. Only when you accept yourself fully, that’s when others will!

Who is your favourite influencer and why?

To be honest, I don’t really have any favourites. I definitely look up to lots of them and try to learn as much as I can. So, I choose to be my own favourite. It’s a much-needed feeling in today’s world where people are waiting to put you down every second. You got to be the number one for yourself!

How would you define your sense of style & fashion?

My sense of style and fashion can be defined by just two words. “Basic and Comfortable”. I love wearing basic clothes involving simple colours. There’s no use having a great fashion sense if what you are wearing is not making your body happy! I style not for others but to make myself feel good. Your beauty truly comes out when even the most basic wear is making you look your best!
