Just give your 100% in whatever you want. Be aware of people. Being in a social field, our industry have so much to take and so much to give back. It depends on your skills and talent.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am basically from Allahabad, UP. I lived in Gujarat for almost 9 yrs. and completed my graduation there in electrical engineering. In between, I tried for Dance India Dance in 2013. At that time, I came to Mumbai with my mom but couldn't make it to further rounds.

Then after getting degree, I came to Mumbai after convincing my dad. I was a total outsider and I did not have a single contact here in Mumbai or in this industry. I started with a cameo role and then TV episodes of Gumrah, Secret Diaries, Crime Patrol and Sawdhan India.

TV episodes polished and made me practice realistic acting. I did 2 Gujarati movies and one short film produced by Yashpal Sharma. I was awarded as best actress for Pizza MMS, Haryana international film festival. After Gandi Baat 3, more followers and people came to know about my work and acting.

Whatever I am doing, every single move, I have earned and worked for it.

2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

I didn't dreamed but yes, I am a fan of the art of acting. I love camera, I never thought of becoming superstar I'm just an actor, an artist. I have goals, I plan and work for it. I never thought of becoming an actor. I was a fan of Madhuri Dixit I was influenced by her. Priyanka Chopra is my favourite.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

Your question itself has the answer, 'Confidence'. It comes with experience. You have to just get in if you really want to do it and work for it. This is the process of getting Confidence, and this is something that applies to every field and not just acting per se.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

I don't have any answer for this, but yeah I can say business.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

Just give your 100% in whatever you want. Be aware of people. Being in a social field, our industry have so much to take and so much to give. It depends on your skills and talent what you want and part you choose.

Mumbai gives you so much, but it takes too. So be prepared for taking risk, be confident, have patron and faith. You will get the results.

6. What is your mantra of success?

Work with honesty. I love my work. Success is just a phase, you should love what you do. That's what I am doing. It feels great when audience loves and expects from you.
