Tell us something about your background and journey.
Schooling from St. John's high school sector 26.ive been a performer since childhood. always loved the stage. I believe ki talilyan maarne me maza nai lene me maza hai.52 ki class me hmesha 51st aaya hu but dance and plays me always number 1.
Doctor ka beta doc vakeel ka beta vakeel .iam a lawyer did my LLB from Punjab University but always a performer from inside. completed my law but after 6 months of practice at high court I knew it's not my cup of tea. In 2016 I moved to Mumbai with a lot of dreams aur socha tha sardaro ka shahrukh bnne ja ra hu.
Parents always supported me beta jo krna hai kr they knew iam a dramebaaz.
Was a part of Alankar theatre group in Chandigarh. First exposure to stage acting.
Bcom from dav College and I did my first reality show "Aaja mahi vay" on Star plus in 2008.i was a teenager and that was my first encounter with Bombay.I was a finalist and came back and completed my BCom.
Did 2nd reality show "Bachelorette India" on life ok in 2014.chd me baithe auditions deta rehta tha.i knew I had d x-factor.
3rd reality show "Ticket to Bollywood" on NDTV prime.
After this, I knew enough of reality shows, time to prove the actor in me.
2016 I moved to Mumbai .gave n number of auditions .sb auditions me ek hi baat sunta tha,sir sardar nai chahiye..I never gave up. It took me 1 year to understand d process of auditioning in Mumbai.
One day I argued with d casting director ki script me nai likha ki sardar chahie but ye bhi ni likha ki sardar nai chahiye. I gave an audition and I cracked my first tv commercial. Then I never looked back and gave many auditions for ads. till now I've done over 50 commercials.
Cracked my first film "Airlift".just 2 scenes in d film gave me huge recognition. never imagined that.I knew bade parde ki baat hi kuch aur hai.
Subha pagg banke nikal jata tha aur saare auditions deke aata tha.out of 10,9 said sardar nai chahiye ,1 said let's try.that was my jackpot.its so tough to be a sardar actor in the industry. They cast sardar in these 3 roles.
I've always believed in fitness. once a casting director said yar protein vala sardar nai chahiye lassi vala chaiye. I said why to typecast that's the mentality of ppl there. Anyways I never gave up kept auditioning.
Who inspired you to become an actor?
I am a die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fan.from ddlj to dil to pagal hai to kuch kuch hota hai to pardes to swades to chakde india to rab ne Bana Di jodi. He has always shown ki charm kya hota hai.
I always wanted to be a charmer on camera. He taught me that and I wanted to do romance like hi. College me soch liya tha ki sardaro ka Shahrukh to bnna hi hai.
How was your experience with the show "The Bachelorette India-Mere Khayalon ki Mallika" in 2013?
Bachelorette was fun, kehte the Mallika ke show me jaega kya izzat reh jaegi.i ve always taken challenges working with mallika. She is so much fun 2 months no phone no family. that was d challenge. Shot in Udaipur have lovely memories. Till date friends tease me Mallika bhabhi ni aai😂.
How well did you evolve in your first movie 'airlift'?
Airlift was a surprise just 2 scenes and the audience loved I never imagined that response. I was air India pilot. When I rescued d mission at d end in film ppl gave a standing ovation. I was watching a film in pvr after-show people came to click photographs.isnt that cool.

Finally, I got my dream role "veer" from kamli ishq di on zee Punjabi and zee dream role. Pehli baar mai hero bna ,hero ka dost nai. I always wanted to be a hero romance with my heroine, do action stunts. Veer ka sapna fauji Banna and jashn ka sapna actor bnna.jashn ko veer bna dia maine kyunki sapne dono ke hi the. Set in Chandigarh so after 4 years I came back to my City my family.
What is your mantra of success?
Success is a lie. Whatever I keep doing to achieve my dream, gives me happiness and that's success for me I have my hashtag #GaliKaNayak. Did kbc shoot with bachchan sahb to dimag me aaya tha ki sadi ka mahanayak meets gali ka nayak so from there # GaliKaNayak.
