Tell us more about your background and journey.
I am a wife & mother of 2 boys from Jalandhar, Punjab. Being from a small city, social media influencing/presence is not a very common thing here. I always wanted to do something different and spread my message of Fashion, Lifestyle and Fitness to people.

What led you to start your page on Instagram?
I just started my page as a hobby without thinking about any pros or cons. I just wanted to tell people about the importance of fitness in life. Having a good taste in fashion & luxury, I also started creating content around it and people really liked it. They reached out to me with positive feedback and that encouraged me to do more.

What is your fitness mantra?
I have a simple Fitness mantra which is to be consistent and be disciplined to stay fit. Fitness should be included in your lifestyle and should not be considered as an activity. I believe in taking action every day, even if you are taking baby steps.

What are some of major misconceptions about diets and exercises?
Major misconceptions that I have seen people asking me about every now and then are people think that eating carbohydrates or healthy fats will result in weight gain, like they think white rice will make them fat but for a vegetarian like me it is also a very importance source of protein.
In exercise, women especially, thinks that picking up weights will make them look manly where it actually tones your body.

What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?
The one piece of advice would be to be consistent in whatever diet or exercise plans you are following. Don't be lazy or procrastinate doing that. Be regular with your plans and you will eventually see the results.

Which is your favourite book and why?
I am not a very avid reader myself. I like to keep myself updated with things but don't get enough time to sit and read.
If possible, you can change this question to something fashion & lifestyle related.
