Saurish Atwal - Ekta Kapoor Has Given an Opportunity to Work for All Those Artists Who Are Already Well Known (Actor)

I feel very happy when I am offered roles. Apart from Kalasur, I have played many such characters. That is why I have become this identity now. I am offered for such challenging roles. And I am Somewhere it seems that these roles are made for me

Tell us something about your background and journey.

My name is Saurish Atwal and I am a resident of Delhi and I belong to a Sikh family. I was fond of modelling from the age of 16. At that age, I made some efforts so that I can take a stance towards modelling. .But I did not know if the ramp could be done at the age of 16 or not.

I knocked on doors in Nadani where I thought that from here, my dreams will be made. But it did not happen. Modelling agencies took money from me and showed false dreams. But I was unintelligent I thought this was probably a way of struggle.

The agencies were shops to make money. The family members were also unhappy with my decision because I was just wasting money and time. It made a lot of difference in my studies. But slowly the time Kept passing. As I got older, I started to know to model. Befriended some good and well-known models and found the right way and way of modelling.

Gradually, my hobby of acting started growing and I focused on acting together and in 2010, after 9 years of unsuccessful struggle in Delhi, I turned to Mumbai.

How and when did you start your career in the television industry?

After coming to Mumbai, I felt that the world of Mumbai was different for me because I grew up in Delhi and there was a difference of land in the world and the lifestyle of Mumbai. , Which was very little for me.

I thought it was good to reduce my needs because I did not have support from my family. And I did not want to give up even after giving up from Mumbai. Some of my new friends were made in Mumbai but they were just friends.

I meant to say that they did not support me in my bad times, even with me apne I refused to keep it. But perhaps God also agreed that I should stay in Mumbai. I requested some casting directors that I am ready to work even for less money.

Then after seeing my strength, I gave me some small Started giving small roles and one of my income started, which helped me to struggle a little bit.

Tell us something about your role 'Kalasur' in Qayamat Ki Raat?

Qyamat ki Raat was a show in which star casting was well known..Famous actor Karishma Tanna And Vivek Dahiya. But the character Kalasur in the show was Very important. At the beginning of seeing this character, it seemed to me that it is very easy because it was only a mask and No more workouts will have to be done in the dialogs and all..But it was not so easy.

That mask was not a common mask. It was a prosthetic mask which took about three hours to fix, which was very painful after applying. There was a lot of sweating and itching after applying that mask. But I could neither sweat nor itch. I had to wear lenses due to which I had to go for regular eye hospital treatment. And I had to sit in that mask for 12-16 hours.

And the biggest thing was that I used to be fed before makeup because once makeup was fixed I could not eat. I had to stay on juices all day after that which was a big challenge for me. Was because before me 5 actors had refused to play this role.

But I wanted to do this role in any case and since it had become a popular show and I knew that this role could give me the identity, I faced every difficulty and took the show to the end. I was 100% guessed that this show gave me recognition. People liked my acting and Kalasura became a famous character.

How was your experience working with Ekta Kapoor?

Ekta Kapoor is a well-known personality. She is the one who has brought television forward to the same contribution. Ekta Kapoor has given an opportunity to work for all those artists who are already well known or say that many artists have got Ekta Working on the shows of Kapoor has gained name and recognition.

The dream of working with them makes many artists work hard at heart. I consider myself lucky that she chose me for this challenging role. They are very happy with my work and I am also very happy to join her production Balaji telefilms and in future also I want her to give me more opportunity.

Share some glimpse of your journey in "21 sarfarosh saragarhi 1897"?

21 sarfosh saragarhi was a concept that was challenging content in itself. Because the story was in 1897. Not all the selected actors had a visual reference. The casting of every actor also became a big challenge for the team. The director was chosen for this project.

It was my best effort to make the show strong. If I talk about my role, I was selected among 400 people. To play the character of "Sepoy Jeeva Singh". But this really It was not easy. We were flatly refused to act in it. The director wanted realistic performance. I and all the other actors were often retaken.

I had to play the role of a Sikh soldier in it, in which I had to wear a turban on the head which weighed 1 se 1½ kg. With which I had to work for 12 to 14 hours. We were trained for several days before shooting. We were trained to walk, speak, live, capture guns and run like an army. Which was not an easy life. Every army living in the army lives what we are proud of. I have lived the life of the army in this show for a few months but it is very difficult.

I bow to every soldier of the country for their passion. I was interested in playing an army in my acting career, who I got a chance to do in this show.

The shooting of this show lasted for a year and got a chance to know the life of the army also closely.

What opportunities and shows are you looking for in the coming future?

I'm inspired by Hollywood's supernatural roles and action movies.

I feel very happy when I am offered roles. Apart from Kalasur, I have played many such characters. That is why I have become this identity now. I am offered for such challenging roles.

Somewhere it seems that these roles are made for me only and I play them better, but if I will be made to play a role in this future too, then I would like to do it happily.

What is your mantra of success?

No work is big or small. As far as the mantra is concerned, I will say that when you have the stubbornness to complete your dreams and face difficulties, nothing can stop you from moving forward in it.

It is definitely hard to keep working hard to complete it. My mantra of success is my hard work. Whatever I am doing today and will continue to do in life. It is not easy to touch someone of his height No end. That is why struggle should continue throughout life.
