My father is an government employee and my mother is a housewife. I have one younger sister. I got married recently and my husband Sree Hemanth who is a business man. This has been my journey till now and I am very happy and proud to take this important step in my life.
2. How can one become a successful fashion designer according to you?
According to me fashion designing is an art in which you need to explore and create different kinds of styles. You need to create it in our own way. Everyone have their own style, the only thing is you should present it in your own unique style. Fashion always grows from time to time and there are no limits for fashion. One can be a successful fashion designer when one can create their own style in their own unique way.
3. What are some of the top colleges for studying fashion in India and the world?
Top fashion designing colleges in India according to me would be:
- National institute of fashion technology (Delhi, Banglore, Chennai, Hyderabad)
- Pearl academy ( Delhi)
- Hamstech (Hyderabad)
4. Who is your favorite fashion designer and why?
My favorite fashion designer is Sabyasachi Mukarjee because I love his unique and simple way of styling. And also his use of colors add a new look to the outfits and make them magical. I also love Geetika Kanumili's designs which are simple yet elegant.
My only advice or tip for anyone who want to join in this field is do not compare yourself with others, just trust your thoughts and ideology and move forward in your own way. Be competitive but do not compare with others. Self confidence and Self trust are the keys to success in any field. Make your own style and design your dreams with your heart.
6. What is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book is twilight, but I do not read books very often, but I love books of love and romance genre.
