I never dreamt of being an actor but the second I entered in Mumbai I said to myself one thing “I want to become a passionate actor” not only an actor “I want to become a star”

Tell us about your background and journey.

I am basically from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I was born and brought up in Jaipur. Since childhood, I’ve always been so bubbly in nature like I if I want something I really want it. There are 6 members in my family Mom, dad, my sister ( She’s married and now settled in the USA), my younger brother who is doing MBA from a College in Delhi and my chachu (uncle ) is like my second father.

About my journey, When I was in 10th standard, my father’s friend asked my father, “Can you please send your daughter for a dance performance in a movie?”. The movie was Pappu pass Ho Gaya which was with Jackie Shroff, Kashmira Shah and Krushna Abhishek. Me and my sister have their dance debut in 2007 my journey started there.

After completing my 12th I started modelling and then started doing fashion shows, I won some awards like “ Miss Beautiful eyes”, “best catwalk”, and a lot more. After that I did so many jobs One of them was in banking I was a banker, I used to work with Infosys but gradually started losing interest and then I came to Mumbai without having anything and knowing anyone.

After some time I started giving auditions for acting. I got a chance to work in a short movie for YouTube but nothing was working out. Then my family asked me to come back home after that, I insisted my family let me go again and try once again. After some time I got a call that I have been selected for Kumkum Bhagya. That was my turning point. I’ve been part of TV serials like ye hain Mohabbatein, jamaii Raja but Then I don’t want to be a TV actor.

I always want to become a big-screen star (Bade parde ki star). I admire Priyanka Chopra. For a couple of years, I worked in the YouTube Web series. In 2019 I shoot a movie known as Mudda 370 J&K With Pankaj Dhar ji, Manoj Joshi Ji, Zarina wahab and recently I shoot a web series it is approved now, but not out yet.

Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

I never dreamt of being an actor but the second I entered in Mumbai I said to myself one thing “I want to become a passionate actor” not only an actor “I want to become a star”.

How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

Every single day about 10,000 people came to Mumbai to become actor or actress if anyone wants to become an actor he has to be patient, confident and most important thing have to give yourself time the last thing which I want to say is you have to be real in short you have to be yourself.

If not this, what would you be doing?

I might cry if I tell you about my journey. I’ve been through a lot like I’ve been eating a small Vada pav and sometimes nothing. I never asked my family for money because I belong to a middle-class family. I know it is not possible for my family to always spend money on me.

Even sometimes I have travelled in sleeper class, if not this, what would I be doing? I would be crying if I thought of myself 4 years earlier. I used to work in a bank for 5 days and then 2 days weekend with family but I don’t want my life to end up in this way. I want to be in front of people and they should know me for what I am, for my acting. I always thought “Ye nahi to kuch bhi nahi”.

For a complete outsider, what advice would you like to give?

The first thing is they should be patient and second is they should be consistent. Being an outsider I know that it is very difficult to build yourself in this industry. You always have to be confident about yourself and you should be passionate about what do you want to do.

What is your mantra of success?

First sight, People think I am not a sociable person but I’m just the opposite. I’m a fun-loving person and people love my company.

Which is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book is once and for all The secret because the book tells us about the truth that we should always be thankful for what we have and be positive in every situation of life.
