Hollywood has given numerous adventurous, thrilling, romantic, paranormal, and even some out of the common understanding movies which would never actually be related to real life, yet still they have a huge audience cherishing all of them. These kinds of fictional movies that are made, leave the audience always in suspense, surprise, and even in shock.
About the Movie
One such movie which had all these flavors in it was the Twilight series. The Twilight series is originally a book series that was later rolled into the film with 5 sequels. The book evolved around the concept of vampires, werewolves, and how they co-exhibit with humans. The book had such an impact upon the audience that it was later needed to make it virtually existing and available in front of them.
Since when the first book came, until now, people still have a great connection with the movie and with their respective favourite characters in it. The fanbase of Twilight had grown so much when the first movie was released, that the actors had to hide all the time whenever they stepped out of the house or workplace. Keeping in mind the fans of Twilight, here are some interesting facts about the movie for them.
1. It is a very lesser known fact, but 'Bella's Lullaby' from the book was composed by actor Robert Pattinson (Edward) in the movie, originally by him. And it is undebatable how well that went off.
2. The first book of the Twilight series wasn't a planned plot. What basically happened is that one fine night, Stephenie Meyer, the writer, dreamt about two people in a kind of circular meadow under bright sunlight and one of them was a beautiful, sparkly boy with a normal human girl. This is how the book was started with a casual dream and then having it become a big billion-dollar franchise altogether.
3. Even while Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (Bella and Edward) once dated in real life, when the actress was asked in an interview about whom she would have dated if she was originally a Forks High School student, she concluded that she would have chosen Eric as she loves nerds.
4. The first Twilight movie made much more money during its opening than any other movie that was directed by a woman.
5. Christian was 17 when she starred in the first Twilight movie. Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight film, literally made Robert swear on a stack of Bibles that he would always keep a safe distance from the actress, as she was only a teenager of 17 years old at that time.
6. When Stephenie Meyer found out about the idea of movies happening out of her book, she instantly had Henry Cavill in mind to pull off the role closest to the character of Edward. But by the time all the pieces were starting to put together for the movie, Cavill had already grown too old for that role.
7. Stephenie Meyer just simply couldn't resist being in the movie. Though she wasn't present in all the 5 movies she made little side appearances in the first movie, and then in the third one.
8. Jennifer Lawrence also scored the role of Bella swan when she auditioned while she was 17, but she also had to be in the Hunger Games and she couldn't swing on both franchises simultaneously and thus, chose to be a part of the latter.
9. Everyone remembers the epic baseball game scene of the movie. In that part, where Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene (Rosalie and Alice) made themselves look completely natural for the game, originally had to learn how to bat and pitch for that scene. The director even made Nikki learn how to bat with their left hand, just for the sake of looking much better in the camera.
10. Among the thousands of auditions for the role of Edward, Robert was eventually selected to work alongside Christian because they seemed to have natural chemistry altogether.
11. When the movie came fans got hooked up on the series and their favorite characters they started winding up using the names of their favorites for inspiration of the names of their own children. The year 2010 seemed to be a big year for Twilight baby names. Many children were named after Isabella and Jacob.
Twilight has always been a heart winner of all the age groups. The concept of vampires and werewolves started with it and was new to everyone and that brought up the interest of the audience. Twilight is like a fairytale, as it is way too good to be true after all with thrilling actions and adventurous plots.
