Natasha Noel - You Just Need the Fire and Right Path


The impact that I wish to make in the world - To make people believe in themselves. To make people understand their worth and to make people believe they can do anything they put their heart and mind to. 


1. Tell us more about what you do and what led you to speak on this platform.

Honestly, I wanted an outfit to vent and share. And random people who didn’t know me was easier than to with my friends family or therapist.


2. How do you choose and prepare for a talk?

Depends on what I feel like talking about then.


3. How can one become a public speaker?

By finding the fire to actually just talk.


4. Can motivational speaking become a full time career?

Yes absolutely. You just need the fire and right path.


5. Which is your favourite talk ever and how did it change your life?

Will Smith – Pursuit of Happiness.
Will Smiths son (his actual son, Jaden Smith) is playing around with a basketball, and he shouts out “I’m going pro!”

After hearing this, Smith decides to try and level his son’s expectations, mentioning that he himself never really excelled at basketball, so his son shouldn’t expect to either.

His son is visibly disappointed by this comment, and Smith notices this.

Smith then proclaims: “don’t ever let somebody tell you that you can’t do something, not even me.”

“You got a dream, you gotta protect it. You want something, go get it. Period.”


6. What are the best public speaking tips that have worked for you?

I have worked really hard on my public speaking skills. There is many tips that I can share. One of the is really important and that is - Have a flow even if it’s points. And don’t talk too fast.


7. What impact do you want to make in the world?

The impact that I wish to make in the world - To make people believe in themselves. To make people understand their worth and to make people believe they can do anything they put their heart and mind to.


8. Which is your favourite book and why?

Unfortunately, I don’t have one. But my top three are:
  • Courage to be Disliked
    Book by Fumitake Koga and Ichiro Kishimi 
  • How to heal your life by Louise hay. 
  • The power of now.
