1. How and when did you choose acting mainly comedy as a career?
Summer of 2013. I dropped out of the University of Toronto to pursue my dream and passion of becoming a comedian and actor.
2. What type of content do you enjoy producing the most and is the most challenging?
I love doing any videos that touch on different cultures and backgrounds of people but the most challenging ones are ideas that are not as relatable to people because you have to work extra hard on the writing to make it come to life.
3. Do you prefer digital as a medium or do you enjoy doing live gigs more and why?
Nothing beats doing live gigs and being in the moment getting immediate reactions from a group of strangers you’ve never seen in your life before getting on stage.
The rush and adrenaline you get just walking up on that stage to tell jokes in front of an audience is a feeling majority of the world will just never understand and it’s one of the greatest feelings ever for me.
I do enjoy digital a lot though too because you have more room to try new ideas more often and it’s just another outlet to let all your creativity out.

4. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
I love and enjoy what I do so much that it just comes to me naturally every day. Sometimes inspiration will come to me when I’m watching other comedians perform, walking my dog, eating with friends, or hanging out with my family.
It’s just something that is constantly on my mind and I’m obsessed with it. There is nothing else I’d rather be doing in my life and it makes me so happy knowing I can always do this.

5. How stable is being a comedian as a profession in your country? And what is the future of this profession?
Honestly, in Canada it sucks. Unfortunately, there is no star system like they have in the US which means that it is VERY difficult for you to make a living and/or get famous over here.
There is very limited funding, if any, which mostly goes to a handful of people who have already been in the industry for 20+ years. Most Canadian comedians who become successful ultimately end up moving down south across the border because there are MUCH more opportunities.
With digital media coming into play nowadays and it being the new form of entertainment, I can see that shifting a lot more which is positive for me because I’ve been building that online presence for a few years now, and the reach that I have is what some major networks were getting back before social media was even a thing.
I will continue adapting and making more content and eventually, if there is a need, will move down to the states to further my career.

6. What impact do you want to make in this world?
I want to bring so much joy and happiness into people's lives with my comedy every single day and do my best in inspiring other people to be great at their own craft.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. Reading and learning about that man's story has changed my life in so many ways. It has made me realize that I have been living my life neglecting the potential I have in every aspect of it.
I have learned that If I want to get something done I just have pushed my mind and tell myself that this is what has to be done to be better.
I have learned that no matter what I do every day, I can’t and I will not ever give up on what my goals are. It has given me a sense of purpose and meaning to the point where nothing will get in my way of achieving greatness.
