Bhagyashree Dalvi - All Our Dreams Can Come True if We Have a Crazy Level of Madness and Passion to Pursue Them (Actor)

Bhagyashree Dalvi

I dreamt of being an actor when I was in school. Obviously, I was flattered by the glamorous side of being an actor, but as and when I realized that it takes lots of effort to be an Actor.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Well, Myself Bhagyashree Meenakshi Ladu Dalvi. A proud daughter who believes in "Never Giving Up". A girl who dreamt of being an Actor while watching Urmila Matondkar dancing to Yayire Yayire song from Rangeela movie. I belong to a typical middle-class family, my parents do service and I have a younger sister who is probably trying to figure out her life.

2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

Very much! I dreamt of being an actor when I was in school. Obviously, I was flattered by the glamorous side of being an actor, but as and when I realized that it takes lots of effort to be an Actor. That thing really scared me I had no one in my circle who knew how and what about this entertainment industry! But I knew just one thing - I wanted to be in front of the camera portraying different characters.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

According to my understanding, if one wishes to become an actor - having patience is of utmost importance. Because no one knows which audition will work! How long it will take to get his/her first break?

Even if you get your first project, then how long it will work! Okay, then what if one project ends? You never know how long it will take you to get your next project. So patience and consistency are a must if anyone wants to become an actor. Giving auditions is one basic thing, rather I believe the more auditions you give higher are the chances of getting exposure.

You reach many people and production houses and that's how it works for you. Obviously, luck plays its role too. So I believe in giving the best shot wherever I am- Be it in an audition or on a camera.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

If not this then I would be writing news articles and research articles. As I have pursued Masters's In Mass Communication and Journalism. I love to write. There are many options as I love to dance so I would have tried my hand at becoming a choreographer. Also, general studies interest me so I would've tried giving civil services examinations.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

Be proud of yourself even if no one is supporting you. No matter what, Do not give up on your dreams. Believe you can and trust me the entire Universe guides you in many ways to fulfill your dreams. Just don't give up and work hard until you make it a reality.

6. What is your mantra of success?

Giving the best shot in everything I do and not giving up. Even if I am losing or getting rejected, I am ready for my next opportunity with double energy and enthusiasm. I do it with heart. Rest keeps following.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I read Ravanayan- a book by Indrayani Savkaar. It really intrigued me the way Ravan lead his life. I love the way he dominated the Era and won Everything that he wished. Obviously, his way of achieving or winning things was not justified but the madness to have what you desire is a must.
