1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Taking a look back on life, I am glad to have opportunities to work in different field mediums. Despite being brought up in KSA which is believed to have constraints for women job opportunities, I believe self-motivation is the key!
My first job was recruitment in my own school as a Teacher-BISD, which was soon after I completed my a-levels. I worked in two different schools during my completion of my Bachelor’s Degree in English Language & Literature.
My last job which I had to resign with respect to fulfilling mommy responsibilities was as a marketing executive in a Swiss MBA firm.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
Being a homemaker or a full-time mommy, I loved experimenting with my culinary skills.
Apart from that, spending time with my little kids and also constant interest in lifestyle blogging always influenced me to bring up something which resulted in ‘muffins_mommy’! Above all, my husband always incited me to do something productive which would be a credit to my virtues.
3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
I believe a blogger goes hand in hand as an influencer cause what you write in your blog, be it a picture or writing form to express your blogging; can influence an individual!
4. Can blogging be a full-time career?
It solely depends upon your interests and time-frame. If you choose and determine in making yourself a full-time blogger, it can result in a full-time career.
5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?
Apart from the ambiance and taste of food, I truly count on the hospitality of a restaurant in treating its customers.
6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My idea of success is to never belittle oneself and to have strong faith in God’s plan!
7. What is the future of influencing on social media going to look like according to you?
Witnessing the present, I firmly believe social media will bring a great impact on our lives. Yet, my opinion would be not to rely on social media completely to trade in life cause nothing is predictable in the online world!! Maintain your privacy, stay safe always!
