The idea germinated out of my graffiti practice, about eight year ago, when one day I pictured the stencils to be inverted. I followed the idea and was fascinated by my own work. Initially it was a hobby; once I had enough artworks on hand to exhibit them, I conducted an exhibition in Kanoria Center of Arts, Ahmedabad, displaying 84 paper cuts.

1) Tell us about your background and journey.

I was born and raised in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) India. There isn’t much of educational background as I was never a bookish guy. After my high school completion, I got enrolled in an animation institute but I dropped out as they stressed only on 3d animation studies while it was 2d art-forms that interested me.

During all this I filled up my sketch books, and once I quit the animation institute, I began sketching full time. The journey so far has been difficult as this path is very uncertain
