Here a small list of places which you can visit this summer to make the best of your time!
1. Andaman and Nicobar Inslands
Spend your summers enjoying the beaches of Andaman and Nicobar islands, diving deep into the waters of the Bay of Bengal, and explore the tranquility of coral reefs. A number of water sports available such as scuba diving and snorkeling make it a perfect place for adventure lovers. Neil Island, Havelock Island, and Radhanagar Beach are some of the most popular tourist attractions. On top of that, Andaman and Nicobar Island is the home to India’s only active volcano, located on Barren Island. You can reach here either by air or sea. The nearest airport from here is located at Port Blair.
2. Ladakh

Undoubtedly, Ladakh is one of the best places to visit in India. Summer is out of the ordinary here, the temperature here can sometimes be the coldest in the world. 3. Gulmarg

Located in the Pir Panjal Range is this splendid valley, Gulmarg. This magnificent destination is a perfect choice for any age group. You can spot families, friends, and even honeymoon couples here. Gulmarg has a lot to offer, from the evergreen forests to the awestruck beauty of the Himalayan peaks. The Gondola Ride, being the second-longest and second-highest cablecar in the world, is a must-visit. Apart from that, there’s a long list of adventure sports one can try their hands on, such as trekking, ice skating, skiing, and snowboarding. To reach Gulmarg you can either fly to Srinagar Airport or deboard at the Jammu Railway Station.
4. Munnar

Munnar is a blissful hill station from God’s Own Country – Kerala. Famous for its unique flora and fauna, pleasant climate, lush hills, the aroma of spices, and tea plantations, Munnar is a perfect getaway for a nature enthusiast. Munna has a lot to offer when it comes to adventure as well, one can indulge in various adventure sports like horseback riding, mountaineering, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, and fishing. Another interesting thing about Munnar is that it is located in the convergence of the three rivers namely, Nallathanni, Madhurapuzha and Kundaly. You can reach here by flying to Cochin International Airport or by taking a train to Aluva Railway Station.
5. Tawang

Famous for its Buddhist monasteries, Tawang is the least populated place of Arunachal Pradesh. The 14th century Tawang Monastery is one of the major tourist attractions. Additionally, Tipi Orchid Sanctuary is also very well known for its variety of orchid collections. Tawang is a very welcoming place, blessed with serene weather. Paradise Lake at Sea Pass, Nuranang Waterfall, Gorichen Peak, Panjang Teng Tso Lake, and Taktsang Gompa, are some of the most popular tourist attractions. You can reach Tawang either by taking a flight to Salonibari Domestic Airport at Tezpur or by boarding on a train to Tezpur Railway Station.
