Who Is Somy Ali?

Somy Ali is Pakistan born, an American actress, writer, filmmaker, model and activist who has worked in indian film industry (Bollywood films). Now she runs an NGO (a non-profit organization) named 'No More Tears', in US.

Somy Ali was also ex-girlfriend of salman khan back in the day's. actress Somy Ali has been trending due to some disturbing disclosures in a fresh interview. The Pakistan-born actress who is now living in the US said she was sexually abused when she was five years old.

While giving an interview to Peepingmoon, she said that, the first time she was sexually abused in Pakistan, then she was five years old. There were three incidents in the servant's quarters. She told her mum and dad, actions were taken. "But her parents told, "do not tell this to anyone".  She thought 'Did she do something wrong? Why was she told by her parents?' Pakistan and Indian cultures are very image-based. Again, she faced the same at nine, then again at 14."

Bollywood Career

Pakistan born actor Somy Ali had a short-lived career in Bollywood. In a fresh conference, Ali said that she was always a ‘pathetic actor’ and thanked her co-actors for being patient with her. 

She worked in films like Anth, Krishan Avtaar, Andolan, and Chupp  Gaddar, Teesra Kaun?. were some of the movies the actress worked in.

No More Tears

Currently she is running an NGO for rape and sexually assaulted girls in US.

She also gets praised by the US President.

Somy said she got the idea of 'No more Tears' from her childhood experience, she faced.

Somy Ali, who quit the acting career, She also praised Deepika Padukone and others who have spoken publicly about depression and the significance of good mental health.
