I’m Fatima, born in Jeddah KSA and living here since my childhood. I have visited Pakistan only few times so I have all my memories and education background from here.
I have always been a topper since class 1 till graduation, in which I got first position in all the GCC countries & once my name was published in Arab News when I was in PISJ.
Currently I’m in final year of Masters.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I properly started using my platform and writing reviews a year back.
I was and am still fond of trying different things either it’s related to beauty, food or any other stuff. I always had interest in photography which basically led me to start my Instagram page and Alhamdulillah people really like and appreciate it a lot.
3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
Once I read somewhere to which I agree that -
Influencer is a person who influences people and blogger is a person who regularly writes material for a blog who can or cannot be an influencer.
4. Is it financially sustainable to be a blogger today?
For some people it can be and for some it cannot be, & it doesn’t depend on the number of followers at all. I have done very rare sponsored content so according to my experience I can’t say that.
5. What do you think influences consumer behaviour?
One should always give honest opinion and reviews as other people are influenced by that. The way of giving reviews and building trust firstly, influences consumer behaviour.
6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My idea of success is self satisfaction and contentment. Never start comparing yourself and trying being in the race, you will lose focus and peace of mind.
7. How can someone become a successful social media blogger?
Success has different meanings for everyone. In your eyes you may not be successful but in someone else’s eye, you may be successful.
It depends on what’s your purpose of being a social media blogger, creating your own little corner to share stuff, write and interact or just being in some kind of race.
One should create their own content, remain focused and keep improving it. One should never copy paste someone else’s reviews as this thing happened to me a lot.
8. Which is your favourite book and why?
There is no specific favourite book of mine. I used to read books rarely other than academic books. But since teenage, I loved reading and writing Urdu poetry so whenever I get time, on and off I read and write poetry.
