1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I've always been a kid who used to be the centre of attraction, I used to imitate people around me, I used to imitate how they dance, talk, walk, which always got me the attention. I was an observing kid, this stayed with me, but I wasn't aware about this gift I had until I started Offbeatmansi and realized that I am actually good at it.

After I joined dramatics society in my college, my whole perspective about acting changed, I felt this is what I live for, this is what I am confident about, it changed my personality and that was all I wanted to do but I couldn't continue it and moved further with my studies and then work.

But somehow I started my page which was for pure entertainment, I didn't have a plan so at first, I followed what everybody was doing, but didn't work out for me, then I started to mimic different personalities and then my bigg boss content got viral, especially the Arshi khan video and I started getting a lot of DMs, the notifications didn't stop it and that was my moment when 'I was feeling like king of the world'.

2. What led you to start your blog and what is it about?

I am working from last four years and I never took out time for doing what I genuinely loved. During lockdown I was diagnosed with anxiety, all I needed was peace then one fine day I created a new Instagram account and named it Offbeatmansi, the plan was to put my mind at ease.

It is an escape to my problems, whenever I feel low, I create but now it's more like my own business. I create funny content on Instagram where I mimic, rant, and create relatable videos.

3. Is it financially sustainable to be a digital creator these days?

I would say no and yes, initially no you cannot expect financial gains through creating but yes, when you are at a certain point where you actually influence people around you, when you get your own audience then brands start approaching you.

But you can't depend on it financially because some days you get 10-10 collaborations and sometime a whole month without it. But yes, if you stay firm and consistent, then you can build your own empire and I've seen digital creators achieving which motivates me a lot.

4. How can someone become a successful content creator?

You have to stay true to your content, never take it for granted, never present anything on your page which you yourself don't like, always believe in your content. For me, when I don't find anything funny enough to post, I don't!

No matter how much time, energy I've invested in that piece of art, but while posting it if I feel it's not that good then I don't post it. To be successful, you should have goals, plans, and desires. Set your priorities, timelines, like where you want to see yourself as a creator next year and then work for it.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

I am an observant person, for me content is everywhere. Even when I'm talking to people I notice their hand gestures, their lip movement, and there you find characters. Since I started this page and people starting to recognize my work, they inspire me to create more and never stop.

6. Who is your favourite creator and why?

My favourite creator is Kusha Kapila, not only her content I love her personality, I've seen her work so hard and become successful in life. She started from nothing and now she has achieved a lot in life by doing what she was made for. She always recognizes budding creators and that's one of the hundred reasons to like her.
