Social media plays a vital role in our life. I too grow from this platform. Daily posting helps me to reach more and more people. I can share my knowledge regarding some fashion, help them to use best products. I always stay active in people's hearts via my stories. I keep trying to maintain a strong bond with my audience. If I have to give some message then social media is of great help.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was a middle-class boy who had to do something different from the crowd from the beginning. I am from Phagwara which is too small because of which I wasn't aware of this line and there was no point of view to go ahead. I haven't any background in this field.

At first, I had absolutely no confidence in myself, people were joking about my looks. I feel ashamed of myself. Then came 10th farewell, I got the good dress award. It's so shocking for me. Why me? On that day I was so happy who made fun of me also gazing at me. I dared to be that I am not so bad as I understood myself. After that I participated in freshers in my college, their people appreciated my looks and said you are the best.

I have taken part in Kamz Kreationz Mr. Punjab 2018 competition for which I left my study in LPU. My gut feeling always said, "I have to do something in my life". I learned a lot and become the Grand finalist of Mr. Punjab 2018 and won the Best Personality of Punjab 2018 award. I was very fond of shooting. When I was in +1, I started shooting.

I didn't know anything about the future what would happen. There were many rumors about me. People were giggling at me.  I went to another modeling competition in 2019. I was very confident still I had some weaknesses which I was working on. I got Mr. Fresh 2nd runner-up award and Best Style Icon Award. I love to do different styling things.

To be honest I wasn't good at styling but as time passes by I learned from my mentors and inspired by whatever I can. Today I sit with them and inspire others. I am approached via a company that makes me believe that I can earn too from this field. The company said to make a video for us we give you ₹2000. I did and got my first salary. Everybody was happy and then I started working from which I usually earn 20 to 30K per month.

Here on my Instagram probably had 6000-7000 followers. Suddenly contract finished and further no idea what to do in this line. I again did hard work and I reach 10k followers. One of my friends Rajan Luthra helps me in providing a dine-out Repost Campaign for ₹600. Thereafter I got links from agencies. I too started approaching various brands like Mcaffeine, Manmatters, Havells, etc.

I won a modeling show in 2021 as Mr. Valentine. While working followers increasing, interest begins to develop more. Well, we have our own business but I was getting support from my family. No one forced me to sit at the shop. They are always by my side. People who make fun of me started inviting me.

The one who started with zero is on high-level today. I am proud to say I am among the top 3 fashion bloggers in Punjab on Google. I worked with top international brands like Fila, Aldo, Samsung. Whatever I am today is due to my hard work, from the love of the supporters and my family.

2. How did you become a model and reach this stage?

I had a mindset to do something different from the crowd so I moved to my passion and started shooting. People make fun of me. Rather than focusing on but I can't do I prefer to do something that interests me so I did a Portfolio shoot thereafter I started working with many brands and approached by various companies, collaborated with them. So my hard work, my belief bring me to this platform and now I am successful.

3. What is your opinion of body image created by the media and how hard is it to put up with it?

Media usually take up things according to them. It has a great impact on us and also it is very important. Before putting a post on today's time we have to think about what will be the impression on people. Many time it's like we want to make a positive change but people and media has made it negative. This can be controlled over or controversial decision.

Handling this thing would be digging in a small hole. Keep reminding yourself to be true to your profession and accept the love of the audience which helps you to decide there's nothing wrong with it. If you're perfectly fine with your work just don't think too much and sustain your growth. Be like clock always tickling even after it breaks, the right time appears twice a day.

4. How important is social media validation in your profession?

Social media plays a vital role in our life. I too grow from this platform. Daily posting helps me to reach more and more people. I can share my knowledge regarding some fashion, help them to use best products. I always stay active in people's hearts via my stories. I keep trying to maintain a strong bond with my audience. If I have to give some message then social media is of great help.

Apart from the audience, I keep a note of various brands. Branding and social media go hand in hand. I have to be very lenient with brands, keep posting them. It helps a lot to learn new things and for growing as well.

5. How can one take care of their mental health in this high-pressure glamorous field?

In this glamorous world maintaining everything is damn difficult. Take everything as a positive response either it's controversy or it's a troll. No matter how hard someone is trying to tear you down just stand up straight. There are times like I made any content and it doesn't Run people are like it's too much stress, it's not working out so must stay chill, calm, and relax.

Just wait and trust. Take your work as a priority and love it either it's shoot or travel. To mentally prepare and healthy just do exercise daily, stay positive, get time for yourself, think about where you are doing wrong or what's going on. Morning or evening walk is the best as it strengthens you with positivity.

Get out of the house with good surroundings. Stay a little alone and think big. Well, the point is that's what we think. Read motivational books. Like I usually listen to Paath, Gurbani, Kirtan. You too can listen to what makes you feel better and soothing.

6. What are some of your upcoming projects?

There are many surprises for you guys when you come up in this field. In the upcoming days, I started working with international brands, also gonna work with travel agencies. You will see me soon in Punjabi Industry in movies and songs.
