A photography style is more than an editing or photography technique. It's a combination of every decision you make as a photographer. One of the best ways to discover your styles to look for patterns in your behavior. Your taste in food, traveling, socializing, and so on.

1. Tell us more about your background and journey. When did you decide you wanted to be an artist and realize your passion for photography?

I have started my photography journey in 2014 since then I've been taking pictures of nature, surroundings, friends' portraits, and whatever I see. Each time I looked it gave me immense happiness. In the meantime, I created an Instagram account just like everyone else but it's surprising to get a positive response.

It made me inspire to capture innovative pictures so I pull out my efforts in photography and in this way it inspired me to keep moving forward and it made my passion stronger. All of my skills are self-learning through different platforms, so this way I improved my photography skills.

2. Who and what inspires you to keep creating and exploring?

I am inspired by simplicity and novelties that are often overlooked. As a photographer, I feel it is my responsibility to capture some of the simple beauty that most people don’t seem to recognize.

3. Among your works, which one is your favorite? Why?

This picture that I took in winter 2019 in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. In the middle of my Spiti journey, our bus stopped for an hour because of some road problems. During that period of time I suddenly saw an old man sitting on the other side of the road, I asked his permission to click his pictures and he gently smiled and said yes. I clicked so many pictures and showed him his pictures, while he was looking at his pictures there was a pleasant smile on his face, he really felt happy by seeing his own pictures.

I felt really happy after seeing those photographs. After that I submitted this image for a big online mobile photography contest and when the results came I won second prize 2000 dollar and this incident changed my parents perspective about my future and they've started supporting me and that inspires me to click more pictures and next year 2020 I won 1st prize 10000 dollars.

4. How much preparation do you put into taking a photograph/series of photographs?

The only preparation I do when clicking pictures is to just open my eyes to see things that others won't.

5. How would you describe your photography style?

I pay more attention to the lighting and the composition of all photographs so I worry more about the framing and the perspective from which I shoot, too.

6.  What piece of advice would you like to give to future aspiring artists in the field of photography?

A photography style is more than an editing or photography technique. It's a combination of every decision you make as a photographer. One of the best ways to discover your styles to look for patterns in your behavior. Your taste in food, traveling, socializing, and so on.

When it comes to photography, there’s a lot to learn. From understanding how to operate your camera to basic composition rules, a stunning image doesn’t just happen by accident. Like any skill, learning how to become an amazing photographer takes practice. It takes time to understand everything so keep clicking and keep learning.
