1. Tell us more about your background and journey.
I'm 23 years old Music Producer and Disc Jockey from Jaipur. I have been making music since a very young age. I have been supported by Dimitri Vegas, Tiesto, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag Germany, and Music Plus. I have judged North India's two biggest College War Of DJ Competitions at the age of 21. I have signed three international music labels including LithuaniaHQ, SSL Europe, Be yourself the Netherlands. I own a music academy in Jaipur which is known as Trapcult Music Academy.
2. Is being DJ a mainstream and financially stable career in India yet?
Yes, definitely people are looking DJing as a full-time profession now. The music and Nightlife industry has grown tremendously in the last 5 years. One can work as a resident DJ or sign an artist at the management company and do random shows to earn a livelihood.
3. Who is your favorite artist and why?
I look up to Travis Scott from the beginning. He came from the streets and built his own reputation in the global music industry.
4. What are some of the common myths about your profession?

5. How and from where can one gain formal training for being a DJ?
Trapcult Music Academy is definitely the best academy where one can learn the fundamentals to advance skills of DJing.
6. What are the kind of opportunities you get after being a DJ?
I have judged two War of DJs competitions and played in several clubs.
7. Your message for people who want to make their passion their profession.
I would say that start learning and enhancing your skills by joining a good music academy. Start assisting good DJs where you will get confidence to face the crowd and yeah finally don't chase money in this industry. Build your reputation, make good music sense and you will eventually get good prices for your work.
8. Which is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book is 'Alchemist'. I have learned that no matter how much effort you put in the work you will fail many times but you have to make sure that you don't give up in the process.
