I am Anjali Anil Kasle. Born and bought up in Mumbai itself. In my school days i was a great athlete and a national ball badminton player. State swimmer, long jump player. When I was in my school days I was too bad in studies and good in my sports. I never thought ill pursue cabin crew as a career.
I too like my dad thought that ill be doing much better in sports represent India in sports. But after my school I went to college & somehow lost track on my sports because the college I went too was famous for sports but didn’t have any training or anything our sports room in college was only filled with boys.
Never bothered to go again. Than after giving my 12th exams I somehow thought of becoming a crew I saw the advertisement of Vistara and thought to try being a cabin crew. Since I had no one in my family and friends circle who was a crew or knew someone who was a crew me and my dad had no idea that I can go for cabin crew on walk in interview bases we thought we have to get into classes or something to become a crew than I joined frankfin.
Where I learner very basic things and simultaneously also went to college in the morning and classes in the afternoon and home in the evening. It was very tiring. After my classes I kept giving interviews everywhere. All the airlines. I gave interview in jet airways for like 9-10 times and finally I got through & I was soo happy. Like I have achieved something really big.
And jet was back then really a good and best airline. The day I got selected in jet was the day i got to know I got selected in spice jet as well as indigo but for me jet airways was the best and I had the best days in my jet airways career.
Unfortunately when jet got shut I after a year waiting for jet to revive I joined another airline where I am currently working and soon I would be trying for other airline since this airline isn’t giving me the growth I want in my life. So this was the journey for me from a tomboy sports girl to a cabin crew I never thought I would be.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram?
When I was in Frankfin I always loved clicking pictures. I had a friend’s boyfriend who recently started his career as a photographer and he wanted some new model for his portfolio so he asked me if I would like to join him. I said yes I grabbed all my clothes makeup and everything and went on shoot one day had lot of fun and started posting pictures on Instagram.
And got really good response from the audience. I kept doing shoots with my friend and kept positing kept getting love from the audience. That's when i got approached from other photographers & brands as well and then i started going on shoots so from that day till now am working has a model/influencer and i am enjoying it & loving it to do it.
3. Do you think that there will be a new style statement or fashion obsession with the new normal? If so what would be your choice and why?
I think there is already new obsession with the new normal. People have come up with styling there mask its a part of our outfits now.
4. Is it financially sustainable to be an fashion blogger today?
To be honest for me its not a stable platform for me. I think people who are famous influencers who has better fan following for them it might be stable since people know them the brands and everyone approaches them and pay them really well on whatsoever amount they say.
But people who are growing as an influencers i have seen brand not paying us that well and want us to give pictures and post it in a slight amount.
5. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
Do not get upset or think you are not worthy if things do not go your way. Always remember whatever happens, happens for a good reason. And this as always made me positive and always encourages me to move forward do well. Not to care about likes or negative comments on u.
6. Who is your favourite fashion blogger and why?
For me. I am my favourite blogger. Because I know how hard I work for my content for my audience who love and support me.
7. Do you have any tips for people who want to join this field?
Yes, do not care if you get less likes who your content doesn’t get that response you thought you will get. Always get motivated by it and do better. Just one post goes bad doesn’t mean you are not good at it. Always love yourself.
8. Which is your favourite book and why?
I am not really into books but i love to read horror or mysteries books. Or books on people’s behaviour. My favourite one is emotions revealed by paul ekman.
