I was born in a Punjabi family and from the beginning, I was very attracted to music and musical instruments. From a very young age, I started performing in various competitions and won Delhi State music competition, Open Mic Delhi, and name a few. After high school, I started performing in various college fests, and from their people started knowing and following me. It was a great achievement for me, like that was something I always use to dream and from there my music career started to taking pace.
2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did you start?
So, one evening when I was attending an event where so many artists were performing their best songs, and seeing my great enthusiasm as an audience. One of the lead singers of a band invited me on the stage to perform for few minutes with him. Little I knew that I can sing so well, I started performing which led the performance to a whole one hour and from there I think I started to pursue music as my career.
3. How would you describe the music that you typically create?
When I started creating music, I didn't know much about the genres, and eventually, I started to understand that the music which I create is kind of romantic and soothing music because mainly I sing in Punjabi language and people from various age groups can relate to my songs specifically those who had a tough past or they wanted to get some relaxation. The main focus of my songs is to be relatable as they can to the things happening in normal human life and how they should respond to it.
For eg my song "Umra De Vaade" means that how two people give vows to each other to remain together throughout their life but due to the circumstances, they can't fulfill their promise and eventually the life of both persons get apart. So, how human feelings react to it and how a person feels in their life is what describes the music that I create.
4. What do you think your greatest achievement has been?
I feel that I'm blessed, and life has given me so many achievements. The biggest was when people started recognizing me on the streets when I used to go out with my parents which made them so proud and brands started approaching me to collaborate with them.
