I am from a middle-class family, I was born on 10th April 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, Basically, I'm from Rajasthan, People know me as Deepak Suthar but actually, my real name is Damodar Suthar, We have been living in Ahmedabad city for a long time and I did my primary, secondary and higher education (Master of commerce) there only.
I have never thought about acting but, I used to participate in plays organized in my school and used to play very well, and my friends always insist I try my luck in the entertainment industry and I started to give auditions for Gujarati & Hindi Films in Ahmedabad And seeing myself on the 70mm screen had become a dream. and I'm a die-hard fan of Chiyaan Vikram and Salman Khan and Manoj Bajpayee.
Despite many efforts, I was not able to bring the desired results, and due to financial problems, I started my first job of selling the sim cards as a salesman under the distributor of the telecom industry along with my studies.
And one day by the grace of God I got the role for my first debut urban Gujarati movie "Vishuddhi" as a lead actor which was released in 2019, I'm doing modelling too and done many projects as a model.
Also, I have worked in my debut Hindi Feature Film "Salvation at Sunrise" (Not released yet) and I'm so happy that I have done two multi-language feature films. Also, I have worked in short films, and I am also working on myself, and I hope people will love me and accept me as an artist.
2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?
No, I never dreamed of becoming an actor. I am very fond of watching action movies. And when I used to go to watch movies with my friends, I used to look at myself as an actor and imagine that I am acting myself. This inspired me. It is unfortunate that I have not got work on my favourite action film yet but I hope to get one in future. And I also have a dream to work in an action film.
3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?
To become an actor, it is very important to work on oneself, when you know your power and weakness, then you gain a lot of self-confidence in yourself, it has its power in it, make it better and remove the weakness that is main for believing in yourself.
To adopt your career it is very important that you learn from your mistakes and try to learn something from the experiences of others and yours, try to understand and when you are engaged in it, you will see the path of great progress, And you can adapt your career like this.
4. If not this, what would you be doing?
I have never been dependent on this field as I belong to a middle-class family and there is no guarantee that you will continue to get work in this industry And when there is no guarantee of getting work, there will be no earning of money too.
I also have experience of banking of almost more than 5 years as I have worked with private sector banks after when I left the telecom industry and I'm currently currently working with my close friends' startup company which is "Sole Capital Finance Private Limited"
And this company provides loans and insurance to the customers. Apart from this, we also have a small family business which is of interior work.
5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?
I would say that if you are ready, no matter how many times you are a failure, but if you are ready to work hard to get back up even after you fall, so you will be able to live very well in this field.
In this field, everyone's journey is very different, many people have made such sacrifices about which we cannot even imagine, then one thing is certain in this that as you move forward, troubles will come in front of you, but if you will be able to face it firmly, then you will be able to sharpen it more, in these simple words, you have to assume that you need nothing but success.
6. What is your mantra of success?
Whatever you have to do, you have to do it yourself, no one else will come and do it for you. When you feel that no, now I will not be there and now I have given up. When you only need to do one thing. That is to talk with yourself. Think for 5 minutes, why did you start this work and for what purpose? At last, I will say that Do your best and leave the rest.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
I love Bhagavad Gita because it has answers to all your questions, in the face of all the ups and downs in your life, how to balance your life, all the steps in it, and this holy book helps you in the time of your struggle and your sorrow by becoming a real Lord Shri Krishna, but at the same time, it also makes you a good and humble person. I want to share one line with you all,
" गीता में लिखा है कि तू निराश मत हो कमजोर तेरा वक्त है तू नही "
