Surekha Sikri was an Indian theatre, film and tv actress. A veteran of Hindi theatre, she debuted within the 1978 political drama film Kissa Kursi Hindu deity and went on to play supporting roles in varied Hindi and South Dravidian films, similarly as in Indian soap operas.

The actress's manager confirmed the news to PTI and same, “Three-time national award winning actress, Surekha Sikri has passed away due to a cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the age of seventy five.
He added, "She had been affected by complications arising from a second brain stroke. She was enclosed by family and her caregivers. The family asks for privacy at this point. Om Sai Ram.”
Surekha Sikri created her debut in 1978 with Kissa Kursi Hindu deity. She married Hemant Rege and that they have a son along, Rahul Sikri.
Her works within the television industry embodies Balika Vadhu, picture show Badhaai holmium, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi patrician, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil… Indumati Lala Mehra, Omaha Kumbh.
