I work hard every day as a model and an actor and try to connect with people around the world through SNS such as instagram and TikTok. Currently, I have about 72 thousand followers on instagram 3.8million on TikTok.
1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.
I am 20 years old, born on March 12, 2001 in Yokohama, the middle of three brothers. Actor, model, DJ.
2. How did you become a model and reach this stage?
While working for my current agency, I casually started TikTok in January 2020, which led to a 180-degree change in my life.
I was selected for the Louis Vuitton show in Tokyo last year, and was later chosen as an exclusive model for Men's Nonno. I also made my Paris Collection debut in 2021 as the first look of yoshiokubo.

3. What is your opinion of body image created by the media and how hard is it to put up with it?
Although I have been featured in the media as "a mysterious and beautiful man who has suddenly appeared in the digital world", I am neither confident nor satisfied 100% with myself. There are times when I look in the mirror and seriously wonder if I am really a good enough to be a model.
At such times, the first thing that comes to my mind are the words of my fans who support me: seeing "Shuzo cheers me up, seeing you daily posts makes me want to work harder, seeing you work out at the gym makes me want to start working out too, and your smile heals me.
Various straightforward words from people of different countries are the very essence of confidence and courage for me. When I feel like I'm about to lose my strength, seeing the comments of my fans is the source of my energy.
4. How important is social media validation in your profession?
I've been uploading 5 TikToks every day for a year without a break. I get a lot of messages, so even if I can't reply to everyone, I try to reply randomly and let as many fans as possible know that I know that they are there for me, watching my posts and sending me heartful messages. I read them all.
I use music that I like for my posts, as well as music that everyone else in the world likes. Music is a very important element.
I try to post both my professional work as a model and my relaxed private life on TikTok. That's because both of them are me. I want people to get to know me not only by seeing me looking cool, but also by seeing me as I really am, a little relaxed.
I was nobody and my dreams were not clear until last year, but now I know what I want to do and the path I should take. I believe that my role is to be a degital bridge for the world.
5. What is your fitness mantra?
I don't push myself too hard in training. It is an important time to face myself in the mirror and focus on myself. I'm just trying to get a good balance of muscles so that I can wear my clothes beautifully.
6. How can one take care of their mental health in this high pressure glamorous field?
Being with all the creative people I've met along the way, such as the makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers, etc., has been a constant source of inspiration for me because I understand that we are all working together to create something and that I'm not working alone.
Whenever I feel depressed, my vision is blurred, or I'm worried about others, spending time with the people around me helps me to calm down and lift my spirits. Training at the gym is another tool that helps me calm down mentally.
7. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?
I used to eat whatever I wanted at whatever time I wanted, go to bed late and wake up at whatever time I wanted, but now that I've experienced modeling and drama work and can never take a day off, I've become conscious of what I eat and the quality of sleep for the first time. In order to keep my skin clear and my body to stay fit, I take Vitamin C, B,supplements and drink a lot of water.
8. How can one build a successful career in your field?
Always go back to the basics and keep thinking about what I want to do and what I want to be. Always keep asking myself why.
Based on this, I think it is important to build a good relationship with the people who are involved with me. Always have high goals and be aware that I am not alone.
9. Who is your role model and why?
I don't really have anyone in particular that I admire.
But I want to be someone that people want to look up to, not only in terms of fashion and style, but also in terms of how I live and behave.I want to be a person who not only gives people energy and dreams, but also has such a positive impact on the world that I can bring things in the right direction by sending out my messages.
10. What are some of challenges and roadblocks you have faced along your journey?
The biggest challenge for me in this journey so far was the Louis Vuitton runway audition in 2020.
Now that I've experienced the show, I can say that I wouldn't be where I am today if I hadn't passed that audition.
And starting TikTok was another challenge that changed my life.
When in doubt about anything, I always try to do it first. It is better to do and regret than not to do and regret.
11. What are some of your upcoming projects?
What are my plans and projects for the future?
I have a perfect image in my mind.
While the world is in a state of confusion due to Corona,
I feel the great value of working with the message of Digital Bridge.
Living in the world of fashion, acting, and entertainment, I am surrounded by many friends who transcend national borders and homosexuals.
I feel and absorb love and freedom in them.
I want to be a person who transcends borders and races, and who can move the hearts of those who love me through my posts and messages, even though I have little power.
I want to always think globally and connect people all over the world with my digital world.
