Find your style and one that is sustainable for you. By this I mean, Find Your Own Voice Which Separates You From Others. When you do find it, make sure you’re able to pursue it. There’s no point in having a particular style like street photography if you live in the countryside.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was a traveller and explorer well before I was a photographer. I have always been curious about our world and the people who live in it.

I worked in the drinks industry in a marketing role for various companies like Red Bull, Pernod Ricard before leaving my career to focus on my own online e-commerce business, which I’ve since pivoted into media creation.

2. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?

My love for photography started when I was in school and my interest never really faded. It was only until I started working for myself did I find the time to spend on it. From there, it has blossomed into a new career and really, my life calling.

3. What are some tips you would like to share with amateur photographers?

Be a student of photography always. Always be searching and testing new skills. Shoot often and enjoy it!

4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?

5. What are various opportunities available for aspiring photographers?

There’s never been a better time to find opportunities as a photographer. Finding like-minded people is a great starting point.

But there are so many resources that are mostly freely available to start your photography journey also.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

Rarely, do I have favourites for most things in life. I’m often asked where my favourite place in the world is - which I really can’t answer. Each place, just like books or music have their own spaces and channels.

I like many different places around the world for different reasons and it’s the same with books as well.
