I am from Agra city and coming from a very medium class family I did schooling from girls inter college. I came from Agra in 2006 I did a bachelor in physiotherapy from Amity University and Masters in neurology from Amity. I am very optimistic about my profession. I face many problems during my college journey as a female and belongs from a rural area.
2. Why did you choose to be a doctor and decide what you specifically want to do?
I did my post-graduation in neurology but my main interest is in paediatrics so I did a pediatric therapy course from AIIMS, Delhi. I opened my own pediatric rehabilitation centre in Indirapuram Ghaziabad. I serve as a physiotherapist for special children.
In my centre, we have many therapies like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and special education it is a total rehabilitation centre for special needs kids.
I have 10 years of experience in this field. I choose physiotherapy to help people and to treat patients without medicine. So my work is my passion when special kids need to improve or achieve their milestones, I feel like I can change her or his life better and improve their quality of life.
Physiotherapy treatment is to prevent deformity, improve strength, correct posture, improve functional independence and improve social and psychological development.
3. We salute every frontline worker during the pandemic, where did you get the inspiration to work so hard?
Some conditions like cerebral palsy or developmental delay kids having tightness develop deformities so we have to give therapy regularly. During covid, I took responsibility to give therapy door to door for kids.
I also use Telerehabilitation sessions during covid I use the zoom app for group sessions and what's app call but it is not easy to take Tele sessions. In covid time I used to take home sessions for kids.
I also had covid in April but I recovered with God grace and my kids and caregivers blessings.
4. How do you expect digital health to grow over the next 5 years?
Last 2 years digital marketing is the only source for patients or their caregivers.
Digital marketing is the boom of the new generation. I used practo, just dial and Google for marketing.
Even social media marketing like Instagram, Linked In and Facebook. I think we have to change the scenario in the medical practice. Teleconsultation is the new concept for health care services but in physiotherapy, it will not help for every condition patients I face many problems during teleconsultation, but for covid Rehabilitation this is the only source for patients and their caregivers.
I think after 5 years it will improve.

I think digital health is the future for upcoming generations and Indian communities. We are connected everywhere by digital communications.
I consult patients from Canada, Australia and other Indian states.

"Huamin paise Kamane ke sath sath humanity ni khoni hai", like during covid a lot of people used unfair means to earn, but we have to serve our 100% for patients improvement.
I also trained young physios I give lectures for pediatric physiotherapy my life mantra is to keep learning and help people.
