We would say staying consistent and original and always believing in yourself to do great things and start creating. Take the leap of faith. Even if your slow, it doesn't matter. Be the elephant in the world full of wolves.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

We are Gowthaman Ilambarathi & Rebecca Roy. Both of us were born and raised in Chennai. Gowtham Doctor is an ENT surgeon in Chennai, and  Rebecca is an Electronics & Instrumentation Engineer.

We both follow our passion for travel and lifestyle blogging and have a page on Instagram called odyssey of two. We both met through a common friend and have been in a relationship since 2015 and got married on December 24th, 2018

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

We started our journey on April 10th, 2017. We wanted to showcase our travel passion to our friends. The increased rate of followers and love from Instagram made us influencers.

Today, we love creating content for our viewers and helping the community with travel tips and information.

3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?

It is a Financially sustainable career if there is dedication and consistency in putting out the piece of work.

It can be a full-time job as Instagram / youtube is an amazing market where every content creator lands with opportunities every day.

4. Who is your favourite creator, and why?

Our Favourite could be @mariefeandjakesnow. They showcase travel in the simplest form from road trips and Rv trips which showcases that travel is beyond comfort and so much to explore in small places.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

We always look at other travel creators for inspiration for finding new places to travel. We are the most curious people ever; we always dig deep and research content via Instagram, Pinterest, Google, Youtube.

6. What does your typical day look like?

We both full-time professional worker besides being an influencer. Gowtham's typical day will be like morning surgeries and consultation evening into blogging and creating content.

We try not to miss a day of not posting on Instagram to balance both sides.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

We love the atomic Habits by James Clear, The real reason for our growth on Instagram and personally. It has changed how we look at life and how tiny changes can make vast differences.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

We would say staying consistent and original and always believing in yourself to do great things and start creating. Take the leap of faith. Even if you are slow, it doesn't matter. Be the elephant in the world full of wolves.

They have known each other since 2015, they instantly got connected as they share the same passion for travel and food.

They spend most of the time planning their adventures together, doing their research, booking flight tickets together they love travelling to new places and countries and exploring the culture and food of those places and documenting them through pictures and sharing it on Instagram.

" Odyssey of two” was evolved as it to create a lifestyle that allows them to spend more time focusing on the thing they love and love each other more and more.

They felt it would help them to prime the relationship as they spend more time creating the contents and planning together which is the part they love the most.

After each of their travel, they come back with so many memories and always talk about it and smile seeing the pictures & the moments they have created together. This is pure joy and happiness that they can't express themselves.
